I'm a single woman and it's frustrating hiring handymen who are condescending or refuse to teach as they go along in installing things or setting things up. Andrew is the guy who will come on time, make sure there's a buffer for your requests to get done, and also tell you what is going on in the issue or project. He's a perfectionist - so if you need a tv mounted he's PERFECT. He makes sure it's at eye level for YOU not what is standard or middle of the wall. He takes the time to make it look clean and put together on a higher standard than most. He also came and connected our fridge to the water line and we are in a rental - so if you are bringing a fridge that has ice/water, CALL ANDREW. He'll take a look, instruct you on what will need to be done, and then go get the supplies himself! The price is honestly worth it. You know you're getting high quality work by someone who is not going to pull a fast one on you or do the job half assed. I really appreciated this and was excited to hire them again. About a month later, I finally got a new TV center - this time I checked it out for any issues and it was fine. I txted the owner on a Friday, the day I got the new package. He said he'd see about availability for the weekend. I knew this was short notice, so I wouldn't have been bothered if I needed to wait for the following weekend. But he never followed up with me that day. Not a huge deal so I just txted him on Saturday and asked if he had any updates. He completely ignored me. On Sunday, I sent a txt saying I hadn't heard from him.... He finally responded and said he'd see if someone was available. Hours later.... radio silence. I then sent ANOTHER txt that day and he just completely ignored me. Like are you kidding dude???? I could've reached out to another company that weekend if you didn't have availability or didn't want to work with me. Just like you... my time is money. I sat around that weekend waiting for you to tell me if/when your team was coming and clearly that was a waste of my time & energy. Thankful for the great quote, the team's overall professionalism and the assistance I got initially, but leading customers on and then ghosting them is seriously just rude... To make matters worse, the pricing was outrageous for the level of incompetence. They charged premium rates for bottom-barrel work. Zero accountability, zero professionalism, and zero concern for safety.
