I had reached out to this company to assemble and mount a small TV center I had bought online. They gave me an excellent quote so I scheduled them to come on a Saturday morning. They were a bit late for starters. Unfortunately, when they came and opened my brand new box, there was a significant crack in the wood that couldn't be fixed or ignored so they canceled the appt. at no cost to me and told me to give them a txt or call when I returned this item and purchased a new one. I really appreciated this and was excited to hire them again. About a month later, I finally got a new TV center - this time I checked it out for any issues and it was fine. I txted the owner on a Friday, the day I got the new package. He said he'd see about availability for the weekend. I knew this was short notice, so I wouldn't have been bothered if I needed to wait for the following weekend. But he never followed up with me that day. Not a huge deal so I just txted him on Saturday and asked if he had any updates. He completely ignored me. On Sunday, I sent a txt saying I hadn't heard from him.... He finally responded and said he'd see if someone was available. Hours later.... radio silence. I then sent ANOTHER txt that day and he just completely ignored me. Like are you kidding dude???? I could've reached out to another company that weekend if you didn't have availability or didn't want to work with me. Just like you... my time is money. I sat around that weekend waiting for you to tell me if/when your team was coming and clearly that was a waste of my time & energy. Thankful for the great quote, the team's overall professionalism and the assistance I got initially, but leading customers on and then ghosting them is seriously just rude... I'm sure there's a ton of people who have had better experiences. I'm assuming mine is a fluke - bad timing or they're just mad about the first time they sent a team and didn't get to do any work. Little back story to this. I tried to initially do the mounting myself. Jesus what a poor choice that was. Getting my old TV off was a nightmare wherin I pulled the old mount off the wall with the tv hanging on to it nearly breaking my old TV. After doing that I tried to start doing the mounting myself. I hate writing bad reviews. I hired them to stain a bunch of outdoor things in my backyard - new pergola, new fence, doors, and a gate. I got a quote from Jay and set up a day to have his guy complete the project. Like someone else mentioned- the worker was Russian and did not seem to speak good English- he seemed ill prepared. He did not do a good job of covering anything to protect my concrete or house even though I offered him some plastic. Instead he got out some amazon boxes from my recycling bin and somewhat put them down. I also purchased 5 gallons of semi solid stain and this guy sprayed it on as paint so then I had to purchase 2 more gallons because he was just going overboard with the spray rather than staining it so now everything just looks painted on - not the look I was going for on my new wood. I have splotches of paint all over my concrete and messy streaks on my house. He also used a decorative ladder to stand on that he found in the backyard so I had to offer him a functional ladder from my garage. He didn't complete all that was in the contract - and when I told Jay - he told me his guy spent $50 for supplies - normally when I hire someone they have all materials to complete the project regardless. He worked into the night - and when he was done he was showing me with a flashlight his work! He told me he didn't complete the top of the pergola - which is the whole point of staining is to protect it from the elements! He ended up finishing it up in 30 minutes.
