I could tell she needed to get some frustrations out! Without a word, I booked us a Rage Room date at The Breaking Point! It was super easy getting a reservation via their website! Many options to choose from. Besides the Rage Room, they also have Axe Throwing, an Escape room, and a Paint Splatter room. Since it was the two of us, I booked the date night package (yes, you can do that) and added a large electronic to break. You would think 25 minutes was too short of a time to go through all the breakables, but it was just perfect for the two of us! It was so much fun and a great workout! lol. They provide the gear (jumpsuit, gloves, and face protective mask). So it's ok if you come with just shorts and a t-shirt on. Just make sure you got sneakers or some type of thick closed toe shoe on! They also have a Bluetooth speaker for you to connect your music to! The gal at the counter was super friendly and helpful! All in all y'all need to try this place! Side note, they accept donations of "breakables" anytime! So if you're getting rid of beer bottles, electronics, or whatever things fragile, you can bring them in! Call ahead to let them know you'd like to donate stuff.

Our family enjoyed motoring around the historic districts, Rattlesnake Bridge and University (dodging students hurrying to class), on the "Shake, Rattle and Roll" tour. We learned lots of interesting facts about Tucson, and even though we love walking, we had to admit we covered a lot more territory this way and were able to save our energy for an afternoon hike in the canyons. At $70 per person for a 2+ hour tour, it's worth it. Kids must be at least 16.

This is a family owned business and our tour guide, Denise, was very nice! She gave a short instruction on how to operate the segway and explained some do's and don'ts to us. She was also very accommodating with our schedule. You also get a shake at the end of the tour, but since I'm lactose intolerant, they gave us ice cream instead (i can't drink milk but i can eat ice cream and cheese...weird, i know)! =)

Plus there's a whole outdoor section with bubbles, a digging area, a music garden, and a small playground structure. I'm probably forgetting some things too--there's just so much! Not to mention an excellent gift shop. Each time we come we rarely do the same thing, since there is so much to explore! Truly a gem for our community! Pro: the museum itself is compact and concise and has both indoor and outdoor exhibits. There's been different things each time we've been there and it's not overwhelming in terms of things to do. Con: it's compact. The interior portion is small, like just one room. Yes some cool stuff in there like the scarf chute, a grocery store, and a slide, but it's smallllll. It also appears to house the staff's fridge and personal space area. Not certain on that but that's what it looked like to me. And while there were multiple staff members standing around chatting with each other, we had no interaction with them. Overall my toddler daughter has thoroughly enjoyed herself while here and I think it's worthy of a visit, especially if you take some things into consideration. The games consisted of mostly claw machines with a few other options including cut-the-string type, timed-stop-and-drop style carousel with keys for the bigger prize lockers, and more. Each was loaded high quality prizes that I personally found enjoyable and tempting to try to win. We went up to the first crane game and to be honest, it didn't work for us despite accepting the money. This hasn't ever been an issue at their other locations so I took a photo and got the info on the machine. We wanted to play more but were hesitant to try again at first. So I called the support and explained what happened, the person on the phone was honestly such a delight to speak with. I wasn't sure what to expect and was so pleasantly surprised by the interaction. We were given very thoughtful options for compensation and felt taken care of. That was one of the most genuine customer service calls I have ever experienced and it left me smiling. We were able to get some games in after that and it was a great time. We had a few small wins that made our day. No more issues and we could play with confidence knowing it is a reliable arcade company and I'm so thankful for that. The tour started with a short, 6-minute video about the origin of the museum. Then, our guide, Bill ,was a wealth of information, and was so engaging with my granddaughter, honking the car horns and explaining details that might be more interesting to a child. Some of the dirt road intersections are blocked in two directions, forcing you to drive around to find the right approach. Or maybe not. Tim told me that's just the neighbors being persnickety about privacy. You can drive straight to the museum and ain't no one gonna say anything. All in all, this is a great Tucson attraction and a must-see for car buffs.
