Agree. Used to be a nice place before it was bought out but now it's dirty and unkempt. Much better options in the area.

OK so I took a day off work and headed here with the wife and my 2 young kids for part of our…read more"Family Day". My wife had heard they had a two hour session for young kids (my kids ages are 6 and 3) that lets them skate for an hour and a half and play on some of the games for 30 minutes. First, for the value ($6/kid with no charge for adults) its hard to argue for a better value. There were maybe 20 kids there throughout the event in total. The kids had a wonderful time learning to skate. They provide some "bars" that the kids hold onto while skating. Parents can also get skates (for free) to skate as well or are welcome to bring strollers onto the ring / walk along side their kids as they skate. The "hosts" do a good job of playing some kids games as well and even give out some little prizes that the kids love. Afterwards, supposedly, the kids usually play on the climbing nets. This day however this was not done as I suspect either they thought it was too many kids for the nets or, since they were doing some Easter theme, maybe that took its place. All-in-all though was a good time. Only drawback was some of the skates that you can borrow are pretty worn down and in need of some attention. I am taking off a star for this in hopes they will eventually update it (though I am sure its not cheap). Looks like a great place too when open to the general public. They might even have roller hockey/soccer/volleyball leagues from what I can tell. They host birthday parties but I heard that gets busy so unless you go for the "Ultimate Rental" package that gives only your party access, I can see it being very busy and congested for a normal party. Worth checking out.

Went for a family fun night. Kids had a blast. Just a few complaints. The place was rather dirty…read more The place could use an overall cleaning. My sons socks and his gray shorts were covered in dirt from crawling around in the jungle gym. We also put $20 into the token machine for games but had we had known a majority of the games were broken we would not have spent the money. We had a tough time using all the tokens. The price per game was great however so many games were broken. The ones that weren't were not even giving our tickets. The selection of toys at ticket counter were very slim and random. Not a good selection at all. There wasn't even candy for the kids to choose. Would love to see some cleaning and improvement to the arcade area. Hopefully we can go back in the future with a better experience.

The old chairs(tilting and broke), bathroom, and skates looked to be from the 80s. I guess the rink was closed, and it sat, and someone brought it and opened it with everything from back in the 80s!! There's security at the door, and they frisk you down! Look in bags and even went through the party food. The staff was nice and the woman who tended to the party was very nice and accommodating. If you have a party you can't bring in burgers and chicken because they sell that. When I put on the 80s style skates, I didn't feel comfortable because they were wobbly! Some people who I was with were skaters and refused to put the old skates on. Some people brought their skates. B.Y.O.S. the floor was warped in some places. The rink makes you sign a waiver before giving you a party band. Someone in our group was run over by the speed skaters and was hurt very badly. They announced that the slower skaters should skate in the middle. However, we couldn't get out there because of the speed skaters!! It was very scary trying to get to the center on the floor!!! Most people just stayed on the side all evening. Overall, I was disappointed at the condition of the skate rink but enjoyed the time with the people who came for the party.

This rink was so much fun! My boyfriend and I went last night for a date night. I've been taking…read moreskating lessons for a little bit and he's only been on the ice a few times. The public skating session at 8p was pretty much empty, besides two other families, so it gave me an opportunity to move around and practice on the ice. My boyfriend liked that it was quiet because he doesn't really like when places are too crowded. The staff were super friendly and allowed us to go on the ice a bit earlier than the scheduled skating time. The rink was super smooth, almost slippery at some points, so I had to skate around a little bit before practicing some different moves. After everyone skated around a few times and marked up the ice it was much easier to skate. The only thing I would change is the prices, since I had my own skates it was only $10 for me, but for my boyfriend to skate and rent ice skates, it was $13 total, which I think is a bit pricey. At the rink I usually go to, you can skate for $8 and skate with rentals for $10.

Not sure who labeled this place as closed but it was quite open this morning- plenty of games going…read moreon here. The two rinks are fine with an indoor, heated viewing area up top. Common areas are relatively clean except for the restroom which was dirty. Parking can also be challenging here. This is also one of the coldest rinks in the Philadelphia tri-state area so if you like to stand at the boards and watch, bring your cold weather gear.
