UPDATE: Went back the following week & my original tech was able to fix the issue. Unfortunately caused another one. Two days later my text keyboard and mic went out. I just went on a purchased another phone. Cost me $600. Lesson learned. GO TO APPLE. ____________________________________________________ Furious, disappointed, scammed. On Tuesday, April 23rd I dropped my phone leaving work and the screen shattered. No problem, I did a quick search for places nearby to repair it. I stopped by iFixAndRepair and my tech, albeit talkative, was very nice. I felt like I was satisfied with the screen replacement so right then and there I went on and purchased a tempered glass protector to give them more business. The next day I had a family emergency call at work, while on the phone I noticed that my phone would put the person on HOLD or SPEAKER all by itself. It had never done that be before. I missed portions of the conversation. Everything just seemed way too sensitive. I googled and it's a common issue after a screen replacement apparently. Wow. I also noticed my screen protector had 6 large bubbles in less than 24 hours of purchasing it and having it installed on a brand new screen. I searched online for an email address so I could explain my situation without interruption. The feedback team emailed me immediately and I received a call from my original tech. She apologized and said, we have a 90 day warranty, please come in and we'll get you squared away and I can fix the bubbling on the protector too. Great. I'll drop by at my leisure. So I came back into the store today, just 9 days after the 1st visit. Unfortunately, my original tech wasn't there and I had a very nasty interaction with the manager. I explained the same issues I expressed in my initial email. From the moment I walked in he seemed uncaring. I handed him my phone and explained that my phone now switches to HOLD and SPEAKER on it's on while I'm on a call. I expressed that it did not do that prior to the screen replacement. I also explained that when you google this issue, it seems to be common after screen repairs. I told him my second issue was that the tempered glass protector I purchased was bubbling up and I felt that it might've been a bit rushed when t was installed. The manager began to let me know that since the screen I purchased was after-market, there's a possibility that the issue wouldn't be resolved and that it could be a software issue. I was very dissatisfied when I heard this because I felt it should've been expressed to me UP FRONT at the time of purchase so that I the customer would be empowered to make a CHOICE about whether or not I wanted to go to Apple or give this store my business. I wasn't equipped with this knowledge prior to my purchase and felt it should've been transparent. Rather than start off with an apology, this is how our conversation went. Rather than committing to retraining his employee on disclosures to customers in advance of the purchase, the manager engaged in a heated exchange with me as if I was a member of his family. Granted I was upset, I didn't feel like I was being heard. It's not ok that a customer brings you their business and their property that they've entrusted with you isn't returned to them WHOLE. That's NOT ok. It should work the same way it did prior OR the customer should be made aware of the possibility. In regards to the tempered glass screen, rather than apologizing for my dissastisfaction with its appearance or reassuring me that it would still protect my phone 100% even with the bubbles or put me at ease, the first comment out of his mouth was "well, did your screen have any scratches?"...THIS IS A BRAND NEW SCREEN THAT I BOUGHT FROM YOU ALL!!!!! In closing, this is the worst experience I've had with a business that I GAVE MY BUSINESS. I paid you all and was treated like that wasn't appreciated when I came in. The manager spoke to me as if HE paid ME money and I messed something up. Now I'll have to take my phone to Apple and pay them to repair it, but your company gets to keep the $60 I spent on purchasing a screen that made my phone defective and the $30 I paid for a tempered glass protector that isn't smooth like the zagg I had for 2 years prior. This isn't good business and I will escalate this issue until I'm heard. I didn't want money, i didn't want a negative exchange, I literally just wanted my phone to work EXACTLY the way it did before I brought it in and for my glass protector to be smooth and aesthetically pleasing. That's it. If that's not something you can provide your customers, then you shouldn't be in business. Be transparent and upfront so folks can make the best decisions for their property. I turned my iPad into them to fix a control board. They said it would be two weeks. We are now at 3 full weeks and they are still as clueless as when I left it. They have no communication as to where they are with it. They have an idiot associate telling me straight bs just to get me off the phone yet they want your money up front but cant give any good customer service. If you value your devices find another location because who knows when you will get it back. For sure they don't know either as they still have my device with the same answer of I don't know. read more

Not good business. Friends phone disappeared for months. There was little communication about when we could expect to have the phone reappear from wherever it is that they lost it. All they offered was a refund on the price of fixing the phone, without refunding the price of the shipping. Better luck fixing it yourself! read more

This place doesn't know how to "business". The staff is untrained, they don't know how to handle customers and the pressure of dealing with 3rd party sources. My phone got lost 3 times and I still don't have a clear explanation on where it is. All the district manager has done is sit on his tail when I paid 200 dollars to have a board repair and still have no phone. On top of dealing with a missing phone, I had to pay for the shipping. read more

I already left a review for my first visit on google, but I wanted to leave another 5 star review for my second trip (I'm a clutz who constantly breaks her phone and I shattered the screen again, after maybe a week or two after just getting it fixed from dropping it the first time.) The first time I got my phone fixed here was already a great experience. The girl who fixed it was extremely understanding and helpful and managed to fix it in a timely manner. This time, I got there about 30 minutes before close after rushing there from work, and the guy who was working today was still extremely understanding and helpful despite being so close to closing. He managed to fix my phone in an ever faster time (despite it being in worse shape than the first time) and was super understanding when I had to wait the 15 minutes for my phone to unlock so that I could transfer money over to my hacking account to my savings. I definitely recommend this place for any phone repair services and will definitely use them whenever I need my phone fixed. I live out in Hiram so it's a bit of a drive for me, but definitely worth it. I should also point out that this was the cheapest place I found for fixing my phone. My service and phone provider wanted over $200 and was just going to send it off which would have taken days to fix, and everywhere else wanted around $150. This place managed to fix it for just a little over $100. Definitely worth the drive for me and I will definitely be going back whenever I break my screen again (which is almost a guarantee with my luck lol.) read more

More like iBroke. I took in my iPhone 4s to get the back camera replaced, after 4 1/2 hours, I left the place with a phone much more broken. Now the back camera doesn't work at all, and they poorly reassembled my phone. The back isn't on all the way, and one screw already fell out of the bottom, while the other is falling out. The guy told me it was going to be 45 minutes. I come back 45 minutes later to my phone that was just taken apart, very slow, very unorganized, and do not know what you are doing. I asked the guy what happened and why and he couldn't answer me. Do not take your phone here! You will absolutely regret it. Worst iPhone fix place ever, would give it no stars if I could. read more

Just a little vent no one use I fix and repair at arbor place mall they are total rip off artist I paid 145$ two weeks ago to have my screen replaced he told me it was a Apple direct replacement and one week later my phone started glitching so I went back up there and they put another one on there and I paid 45$ for a gadget guard screen protector which they had to take off when they replaced my screen and then they tried to reuse it and I was like hell no out a new one on there and they were like well you have to do it online through them but we can put a temporary cheaper one on there and I was like will it be okay because my phone is in a otter box case and a lot of them will not work with a case like that so they were like yea it's good it will be fine so not even 12 hours later my phone literally fell off the seat in car to the floor board literally like 5 inches and it shattered the screen protector and cracked my brand new screen and they won't do shit to help me out first he said you have to pay full price so I sent Tina up there and he told her 50$ which is total crap cause it's there fault they put a tempered glass protector on it inside a case which caused it to crack the screen and now I can't send it back to Apple through my insurance cause the screen is not a oem replacement it's some cheap shit they buy so PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS they are childish up there even the manager he made someone act like him on the phone cause he was to chicken shit to get on the phone and handle his mess up cause he is the one who put it on there his name is Corey and he is a total pussy read more

In May 2018, I paid for IFixAndRepair of Arbor Place Mall to repair a crack in the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S8+. Since it was going to take longer than expected, I immediately called them the next day to see if I could request a refund since I was not able to wait that long. Since they did not answer their phone the first time I called, I called a few more times without any answer. I did leave voice mails, and still, no reply. 5 days later, someone did answer my call and told me that I would receive a call back. No call back was received. I continued to call IFixAndRepair multiple times a day for the next 5 days. Still nobody answered the location's phone nor the corporate phone number. I also never heard back from IFixAndRepair about the screen part they supposedly ordered or anything about completing the repair. So, I contacted my credit card company and had the purchase disputed. 4 days after disputing the purchase, I received a call from IFixAndRepair where they left a voice mail pretending as if the repair had been completed. They asked how the results of the repair were. I missed the call so I immediately tried to call them back 3 minutes later. However, they did not pick up the phone. I left a voice mail letting them know that I disputed the purchase since the services were never rendered. I still haven't heard from IFixAndRepair. Today's date is July 24th. read more

Worse experience ever! I've had my iPhone 5s for less than 6 months I shattered the screen and took it to the ifix store located in arbor place mall. When I got it back (the first time) something was wrong with my screen. When I would try to take a "selfie" the picture was blurry and the vibrate didn't work. Also the screen wouldn't turn off so I would push button ( mute,keypad, etc.) I took it back the very next day. The vibrate still doesn't work and the screen was fixed for about a week. So before you take your phone to this store save your money and make a claim on your insurance. I would have rather had a shatter screen than the p.o.s I have now. Now I'm going to have to spend another $150 to get this fixed.. Sad. read more

Finally decided to break down and let someone else fix my phone. What horrible decision I made!! Besides performing the service requested at an appropriate time.... Everything else SUCKED!!! Took my phone in to have the battery replaced. Since the screen and power button was cracked, I also had them replaced. From the start I was skeptical. The customer service was hands down the worst you can get from any service in Arbor Station. Including the pesky kiosk ppl!!! I was told I would have to come back in a few days to have the power button fixed. However, I was to pay for it at that present time. I wasn't given any form or anything saying I was to come back. I was only verbally told, I thought that was kinda unprofessional. So I leave my phone for the screen and battery repair. I was told it would be ready in 30-45 mins. 2hrs later after shopping I go to pick my phone up. They pull it off the non Apple charger and it DIES!!! Seeing how I have never had a generic charger to ever properly charge any of my iPhone's. I leave happy with the screen and thought of a new battery that just needed charging. I charged my phone to 100% and 40 mins later of moderate use, IT DIES!!!! Before I could get about 1.5-2 hours. I waited the couple of days I was told to wait for the power button before I returned. I was then told "sometimes we stock batteries that have been sitting in a warehouse and possibly have dead cells." To make the situation worst! The guy proceeds to tell me "it will be Monday before we have the power cable or battery." No thank you, no I'm sorry, just plain "you've paid, we have your money, we lied, now wait" and possibly everything will be fixed on the day he says. Right now my phone is DEAD and will not charge. I still have 4 days. I have already purchased a new phone! Did I say this place SUCKED!!!! Go elsewhere! read more
