I was then directed to meet with financials, oh surprise!! You have to pay 500 dollars for the "x-ray" they just did. This was not mentioned beforehand. PRP is not covered and surgical center fees and anesthesia fees are really high. Nothing is presented as optional or modifiable. This did not feel like medical care, felt more transactional. I decided to go for another opinion, experience was completely different. We did not choose Chapel Hill oral surgery for his surgery, I cannot comment on surgical experience.

The staff is not only very friendly, but they were also helpful in getting my new little baby girl set up as a new patient. I am a new first-time mom (just over 2 weeks) and finding a pediatrician before was not necessarily easy. There are so many great choices! I noticed that Chapel Hill PA had a great website, great feedback from friends, and lots of good Yelp reviews for their Chapel Hill location. After giving birth at UNC, my little one and I got quickly set up at their Durham location and have had really pleasant visits since. We have seen Dr. Joe and Dr. Woodrum at the Durham location, and we loved them both - especially Dr. Woodrum! The doctors were both friendly, caring, helpful and attentive to my husband and I's questions and needs. Most of all, they take their time with each family they see. We've seen a few other pediatricians since moving, and nobody has ever compared to Dr. Cooley. She's warm, kind, understanding. She has the perfect temperament to be in the field that she's in.
