I've put her price as average, but i'd say they are a high end product at a very reasonable price.

They do have a small selection of sale items, and some of them make a good gift. There does always seem to be a member of staff available to help you if needed, and the quality of the products are very good. As it is based in the Beckton Retail park they have a lot of parking available. There is many other shops in the area for you, including a large Tesco.

That's the good stuff... now the bad.. or should I say odd. The place has absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. When you eat in the place you seem to feel in the way. The rooms are old fashioned and frankly awful. You can tell that the owners feel the same way about the atmos as they have clearly tried to do something about it. I can't recommend the rooms, but having a beer and watching a band on a saturday night is a good time. Duality indeed.

Plus, they have an all night snack bar if you need some food when you get in late like I did. Its also in walking distance from the subway and the ride to downtown London is only about 30 minutes (like 10 stops) and an all day subway ticket only costs 12.5 GBP! My room was nice, clean, and the bed was soft. The bathroom is a little small, but it is clean and nice! The front desk people were VERY nice! The girl who worked the desk in the early afternoon was so patient and answered all my questions about driving in London, using the subway, local toll roads, etc, gave me a nice map to get to the subway, recommendations, and was just overall, very helpful. I think her name was Alice :D Minor cons: The temperature regulator in the room doesn't go very cold, so I did have to open the window to get it cool enough for my taste to sleep and that made it a little noisy cuz its by the motorway. Also, they do charge for parking 3 pounds per night, but it is also gated for extra security for you and your car. Breakfast is not included. It's like 8 pounds. I didn't try it, I just went to the grocery store and got fruit and cookies :) I would definitely recommend Ibis and I would stay there when I travel to other places/countries as well!

Thriller: The Michael Jackson Story was here a while ago, and blew me away, (even though I felt only the young kid was the only one to pay a true tribute to the undisputed King Of Pop). Sometimes they do have the sound a little too loud for the venue, but this is only on the more rock/metal style live performances, such as Thriller, and other such shows. If you do have a balcony seat though, beware of the steep overhang, and the low hand-rails, as a 6'2" Epileptic, I could easily fall over these, (I've had further drops though, heh), and I feel that as far as safety is concerned, (not just for me, but also for others, such as blind people such as my Mother), that these hand-rails should be raised more. In short, a great place to go for a reasonably priced show, but don't get a balcony seat if you've had a few to drink, lol.

However, sometimes musical productions form London will tour and they often have a short run of a week or two at the Cliffs. I have been lucky enough to see the touring production of Fame and also The Woman in Black (which was terrifying!) here. The prices are also much less expensive than going to the West End and the theatre is smaller and more intimate - you definitely get a better view of the stage. The sweets are just as pricy though!
