We discovered this photography studio, quite by accident, while on vacation in London. The studio…read moreis located in the lower level of a gift shop directly across the street from Harrods Department Store. We did not plan on taking professional photos but we got caught up in the idea and the various costumes available (Tudor, Old West, Gangster, etc). We chose "Tudor" and were quickly taken into a room so we could change and choose which headpieces we wanted to wear as well as rings and swords. The photographer was very professional and the sitting took about one hour. There was a variety of poses and props that we used and after the sitting we had over 125 photos to choose from. We had big laughs looking at the photos while sitting on a sofa in front of a big screen TV. In the end we decided on four photos and decided on a package plan which included digital copies. The price was fair and the photos were also retouched to give us flawless complexions which is always flattering. I recommend seeking out Old & New Photography Studio for your photographic needs. Have a good time and remember to have fun and get caught up in the moment. We did!

Their photocopying (self-service) is also useful in doing all variants (double-sided, etc) up to A3. I just wish the staff - of whom there seem to be quite a lot for such a small shop - could be more consistently cheerful. It was great for street photography (Monday during lunch hour in the financial district) and city scape / architectural photography). My guide, Steven - a professional photography - was very knowledgeable about the history of the City and an engaging person generally. He took us to really cool hidden gems through alleys that one wouldn't expect to lead anywhere - Charles Dicken's favorite pub, Shakespeare's church, a garden courtyard with office workers eating lunch in the sun while a guy practiced advanced yoga on the lawn, the shell of a church bombed out in WWII.
