Beautiful pottery by local Artisans. I was welcomed in by one of the shops owners who promptly asked me if I was there for the Mayor's Birthday... Max is his name and he is a beautiful Golden Retriever, sadly I was unaware of such an occasion but it is duly noted for next year. Gorgeous mugs, bowls and plates are here. If you are like me and prefer one-of-a-kind service ware, make your way up the mountain and peruse their offerings. I got this neat garlic grater that is so beautiful just grate the Garlic and then pour the olive oil into the same dish Voilà your good to go! They also offer pottery classes here as well. The whole class was a group of wonderful, supportive people! The campus, the food, the other students, and teachers and staff all leant to the overall spirit of the week, which was one of unity, respect and joy. There were curated lunch and evening lectures and music that also contributed to the richness and wealth of knowledge that I felt being shared. I highly, highly, recommend the adult summer curriculum to anyone. You will walk away with much more than an art project. Thanks to everyone at Idyllwild Arts. I will be back!!!!

What we like to do is get a bottle and enjoy just lounging there. It was nice out but still pretty warm. The trip was cool off a bit coming from the desert up to the mountain. So outside seating wasn't very tempting at the time. Inside, it's the winery which is pretty massive. Mainly their tasting room with the bar counter and loads of seating. Communal tables as well as group tables throughout the property. There's also a second floor which we didn't go up this time. Inside is also a showroom of artworks and trinkets. Different artists showcasing their work, handmade jewelry laid out through the whole place. Displayed items one after the other. This place was happening today with so many people popping in for some wine. I don't know if the event with the band happens often or just during the weekend but it was great. We ended up just staying inside as it was nice and cool. Picked up a bottle of the Tempranillo and made ourselves at home. The wine is quite tasty and nice. You can do a tasting which I believe is three samples. Or if you just wanted a glass that's also offered but we opted for a bottle. Snacks are also available for purchase if you would a charcuterie boards to accompany your tasting. It's very pet friendly as there were so many pups around. They too like to enjoy the party. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Chatting with the people walking in and sitting next to you. It's a good way to make new friends. The place was lively and everyone was there for the same thing. Good company, great wine and a fun afternoon out. With the artwork and all the items display, I don't know if they're there permanently or on rotate seasonally. But walking throughout and seeing everything on display, it was great. If you haven't been, it's worth a stop to have a nice tasting or a glass. A favorite of ours whenever we're in Idyllwild.

She was really flexible with my changing head count and just shared the minimum cost which was around $330. She had me choose what design I wanted to paint in advance too, which was easy! Review - I planned this for my birthday and I had such a fun time. Davina really walks you through the steps in an easy to understand way and shows you how to do each step on her own canvas. It was totally fun and doable for my friends who are not generally crafting people! The studio has great decorations and ambiance, Davina gave us glasses, glow in the dark hair clip, and a hat to take home with us. The final painting is so pretty and glows in the dark. Super recommend, especially for kids, families, friends. COVID - we didn't wear masks but you could wear masks. Davina shared she is vaxxed and boosted.

You are admiring the male physique from afar. Your model will be full on naked, & a few girls were shy, but in the end, everyone agreed it was definitely an experience worth having Contacting The Artful Bachelorette was easy & they were always so quick to respond & answer question. The class is 2 hours long & you get a teacher, ours was Violet, & a model, ours was Franco. They bring easels, paper, charcoal pencils. Make sure you have a speaker so you can get in the mood to unleash your inner artist with their soothing playlist. Franco is so handsome & sweet! & Violet guided us through several drawing techniques. A few in the group were already known artists but some of us were shy because, like me, I am not an artist. But we were all so pleased with our artwork thanks to the encouragement & teachings of Violet!
