When we arrived, we were acknowledged immediately and offered us beverages while we waited. I used to have to spend over an hour blow-drying and straightening my hair, and even longer if I wanted to curl it on top of that. Now, it's sleek and beautifully silky to the touch. Sunnie added a keratin treatment to ensure that my hair would retain some volume and keep it healthy after the straightening treatment. From the moment I sat down in the chair, she inspected my hair and told me that the process would consist of applying the solution to my hair, letting it process, washing it, drying and flat ironing it, then applying the neutralizing solution that would allow it to stay straight, using the keratin treatment, and using a special iron that would almost "steam out" the keratin solution and make it bond to the hair, and then we'd be done. She was an absolute delight and made sure that I was well taken care of the entire time. She even brought me water without even me having to ask! She was also very detailed and even made sure to check individual strands of hair during the entire process to make sure that there was nothing overlooked. My hair looks amazing. Yes any hair dresser can throw bleach on, but not all care about the integrity of your hair, and are honest with you on the results and it doesn't come out yellow or orange. I looked at the photos and loved what I saw. The ladies hair was blonde AND healthy! This was perfect! I booked my appt which was really easy, I inquired and received a phone call right away from Alonso. I gave him all my information, my inspo pic and what my hair was at now. Alonso was warm, welcoming and I could tell he enjoyed what he does and was excited. I came in to my appointment and from the minute I walked in the hospitality was unlike any other. I was offered food, drinks, consistently asked if I was okay and comfortable which really matters. I had been going to another salon for two years, which I won't mention the name and for two years, I was not ever able to get exactly what I was looking for and was told it wasn't possible or we will "work towards that", let's be honest hair coloring isn't cheap and who wants to pay hundreds of dollars for something they aren't satisfied with?! Not me. In one visit Alonso was able to give me exactly what I was looking for and was extremely honest with me and gave me multiple options and prices upfront, which was extremely important. We both chose an option that suited my situation and he showed me just some of what he can do and I am so excited for next visit and what else he can achieve with my hair. The salon is adjacent & combined with a flower shop, which who doesn't want to smell and look at beautiful flowers while getting their hair done.
