Ideal Turf just finished installing my artificial turf today, and it looks fantastic! My experience with them was awesome from beginning to end. I got an appointment to get a quote quickly, all of my questions were answered and I was not pressured to make a decision, the installation was scheduled within 3 weeks of my authorizing the work, and the installers were professional and they cleaned up everything when they were done. I couldn't be happier.

Very pleased with this project. Everyone was very responsive and they showed up as promised. The job was completed faster than we expected! Love our new putting green!

I'd recommend going elsewhere for your artificial turf. The process was a nightmare and the communication after the contract was signed was terrible. When the crew installed the turf, they broke lines in the sprinkler system while breaking up the rocks in my existing lawn. This caused flooding of the newly installed base, which had to be redone. They had to come out a few times to correct the installed turf. To this day I have gaps in the different pieces of turf they installed. During the process, I had total strangers arriving at my house to ask me "where do I get the rocks". When I asked them what they meant, these strangers told me that an ad was placed on Facebook for free rocks. So, the company thought it was appropriate to sell the scraps from my job on Facebook, giving out my home address. When I called the company, they told me that they would stop. The next day, strangers would continue to show up at my house for "free rocks." Communication was awful. During the sales process...quick call backs and replies to emails. As soon as problems began on the job, I had to call the office several times. I spoke directly to their team members, who several times told me they'd call me right back with answers. Each time I called them, I received no call back. I had to call them back each time to remind them that they had committed to call me back. They also stopped responding to Yelp messages. I recommend you avoid using Ideal Turf at all costs. read more

Had an easy and beautiful experience with ideal turf to put in a 200 sq ft. turf area in my yard. From the first consultation to the install, the timing was about 10 days, so I loved that the process was quick. Our consultation with Cameron was easy and informative! The install then took a full day. The only thing I wish we could have understood more of during the consultation was that we were going to need to purchase irrigation equipment prior to the turf install, so that was an unexpected expense that day. Otherwise, we received three quotes total to do our work and Ideal Turf offered almost an equivalent quote to the cheapest one we received, yet then seemed the most professional which is why we went with them. Spent a lot of money putting down over 5,000 sqft of turf and the main yard is absolutely falling apart. We have been trying to get someone out from your company to service it and stretch it out properly and have been told multiple times over the last month that someone would get right back to us. Still have yet to even get a courtesy call back. read more

Just like the other bad reviews, everything is great until there are problems. Our turf is caving in because they didn't fill the ground under the turf with enough sand and rock. Multiple calls were made to the company with no call backs. Finally got someone to agree to come out and we've taken off work to be home for the repairs and had 3 no shows and now we are back to making endless amounts of phone calls. read more

I purchased a Putting Green back in 2020. Ideal Turf responded to my request quickly and had a salesman contact me. I decided on a 20X20 putting green. After 3 years the Binder around the green began coming apart. I contacted Ideal Turf who informed me my Green was out of warranty. I responded that I was aware of the warranty was expired and willing to pay out of pocket.I have called Ideal Turf at least 2 times a week for the last three months.Each time i was informed they were very busy and someone would contact me regarding the repairs.They asked me to send pics of the green and a brief summary of what the issue is.After three months of trying to get this fixed .I received an email on 6//22 stating that I should send pictures of the green and I would also receive an invoice for the repairs. It stated a repair person would contact me with a date to complete the repairs after I paid the invoice.The email once again stated they were busy and usually conduct repairs in the OFF Season. I have never been treated so badly by any company. I'm not asking for any thing free. I'm willing to pay for the repairs. I contacted several other turf companies who stated they could not repair any work done by another company. Moreover, why would I pay for the repairs before it was completed. What happens If the repairs are not to my satisfaction.I would pay for a service call but no way would I pay for the repairs before completion. This company is very aggressive when seeking your business. They have a poor follow through when it comes to service. Never knew how wonderful turf could be for a dog area. The entire process was seamless. Logan did a. Great job with the initial estimate and the rest of the team was super professional getting the job done in the allotted 2 days even staying late into the dark to finish. They were even flexible with a last minute change. read more

I regret getting my turf with these guys. They talk good until it is paid in full, and never respond for any issues afterwards. They did a very poor job with grading which flooded my neighbor and my backyard. It took more than 2 months and hell number of calls to get it fixed. The guy who came to fix the Issue didn't know English, and we literally used a translator app on phone to communicate. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

The turf project is now complete because DFW Turf Pro's owner Marc made it so easy. We talked with several other turf companies and were pleased with their product offerings and pricing. We met Marc at the Dallas Home Show where he helped make the decision so easy by answering all of our questions and without hesitating agreed to upgrade the turf at the same price of a middle grade turf. He truly helped us make the the informed decision to proceed. Within 4 days the installation crew (a family of 3 and a close personal friend) arrived as arranged, were incredibly organized, friendly and diligently worked through the hot North Texas August heat until completion that included a perfect cleanup. After finally being convinced by my wife and two sons to get a dog, which turned into two dogs, we were one big, happy family. Three months later, our lush, green lawn was half mud pit and half yellow patchy shredded mess. Although my wife and I swore we would never have artificial turf in our yard, we started researching options. To our delight, we found pet friendly, natural looking products from Ideal Turf that changed our mind about artificial turf. Based on personal reference from our neighbor we contacted Ideal Turf to see samples of the pet safe products and get a quote. Jason was responsive and helpful in deciding which one would be best for our situation (heavy dog traffic). We ended up picking Preston and it looks absolutely fantastic in our back yard. We've had it installed for several months now and we couldn't be happier. Our friends are amazed at how realistic the turf looks and the kids and dogs love playing on it. I am writing this review to warn others based on our extremely negative experience with this company. We entered into an agreement for a job totaling $40,000 and provided a down payment of over $20,000. Unfortunately, the work was never performed, and the owner has reportedly gone out of business, taking our money without fulfilling the contractual obligations. I strongly advise against trusting this company or providing them with any form of payment. We have been left with no recourse other than legal action, as it appears unlikely that we will recover the funds. My hope is that by sharing our experience, others can avoid making the same costly mistake. read more

What a great experience!!! The installers led by Cris were a class act and they were more like artist and our yard was their canvas. They treated our project like it was their home. So meticulous and calculated with every step. We are very picky and it was a pleasure having this team work on our home. Logan who was our first contact with the company was a straight shooter and set us up for success. Another compan wanted to just glue turf down and Logan explained the problem and informed us instead of selling us. The process was smooth and professional from beginning to end. I provided a down payment for work that was never completed. The owner claimed the business was closing, which I later found to be untrue, and then became unreachable.
