Last time when he gave an estimate for putting in some new sprinkler heads, he also fixed and adjusted a row of mini sprinkler heads for the garden bed and did not charge for that. This time, Jesus placed new sprinkler heads for another part of the lawn, and changed out different spray head types a couple of times to my liking. He has the patience of Jesus. The estimates are reasonable, and Linda, who coordinates the jobs and takes the payments, is very responsive and quick to reply to questions. Overall, I recommend them for affordability, communication/responsiveness, and timeliness.

Once they did, their service was spotty, never knew when they would show up, so I had to keep asking. A couple months in, and they stopped showing up altogether. After 3 weeks of nothing, I emailed and was given another apology for them forgetting I existed. Another 2+ weeks go by, same exact thing. So I cancel my service with them, but I had one more day paid for. They came out and mowed their last day. And then they charged me for another month's service today. And good luck trying to get them on the phone. They never answer. If you leave a message, best you'll get is a text. Feels like they're scared to talk to their customers, and I see why.

He made promises about when I could expect a quote and then it was several days past "his" deadline when I finally received one. The funny thing is that after he spent his time doing this he never contacted me again to ask to the business. A very unusual way to obtain business. When a guy shows up at your house and doesn't present a business card that should have been an instant red flag. I would not recommend Curtis Roughton because it appears it is Not a High Quality Landscaping Service. Maybe this will help someone else from wasting a lot of time.

I don't trust a lot of companies, we interviewed 3 other landscaping companies/people before we decided to go with HQLS. Their work was done well, done fast, they were honest and they were fair. Each team consisted of experts in their craft, who showed up on schedule, worked with minimal disruption and cleaned up each day. We highly recommend Unique Landscaping!!!

Nope - but how the Kaufman's took care of issues was spot on and left me feeling good about my choice to partner with them. Their post-install help has been stellar - answering any questions this purple thumbed customer may have. They even came by and checked on my landscaping at periodic intervals making suggestions recommendations and even taking care of an issue or two that I never saw. And I did NOT even buy their maint contract - Unique just takes care of me. Thank you Kurt and Mrs Donna for your insight and Uniqueness to my landscape!

We had a great experience with Oak Grove for a sprinkler system installation…read more We had an existing (non-functional) system at our house that needed to be removed and completely reinstalled. As any homeowner should, we got two bids on the project. We had a landscape plan from another company that we were able to provide to help with the bidding. Pricing from the two firms came back at nearly the same pricepoint. We went with Chad's team at Oak Grove because we'd been referred by the company who did our existing system assessment (a company that's highly regarded throughout the area) and we had a great deal of comfort after talking to Chad and understanding how his company operates. The installation process took about a week and, unfortunately for Chad's crew, it was the hottest and muggiest week of the season. The laborers were quick, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. There was always a crew chief on site to oversee the work and make sure everyone was drinking plenty of water. The work site was left spotless at the end of every day. We were impressed that we were called and asked for permission any time they needed to leave supplies in our yard overnight. Chad was eternally patient with our many questions. So were his staff (Bart and Chris) who on site. And, by the way, all of the work was done to code - Chad is a licensed irrigator. They pulled all necessary permits and sent us proof of our passing inspection at the close of the job. Payment was super easy. A QuickBooks invoice was emailed to us (50% before the job started, 50% upon completion) and we were able to pay using our bank information. Couldn't be simpler. I highly recommend Chad and his team for this type of work. And based on how they did with irrigation, I would trust him with my landscaping work also. For those who like pricing information, it was $4500 for the job - removal of old system, installation of new including new very fancy controller box, permits and clean up.

We needed our front yard and flower beds cleared of acorns, weeds and old mulch. They trimmed a couple dozen hedges and two larger trees. They also added new mulch to the entire front yard, and what was fantastic is they picked up and transported the mulch! Three to four guys worked for 3 hours to complete the work, all for an Incredibly fair price and value. I received another quote that was nearly FOUR times what Tulum did the work for! I highly recommend Tulum and we will be working with them on any all future yard projects!

He visually pointed out a few things and then sent his proposal a few days later. His plans were the most comprehensive of all the bids we received. They were also the most expensive but included things that the other bids didn't so in comparison it wasn't apples to apples.
