It is unfortunate, however, that anyone's family member had to be transported by this moron. While I was driving northbound on Harbor Boulevard at Union in Fullerton, traffic was merging into one lane. This douche bag comes speeding up from the right and tries to cram his van with less than 2 feet between the vehicle in front of me and the front end of my car. Traffic was only moving at about 10 to 15 mph but instead of relinquishing, he continued to force his van into my lane and at one point got within a couple of inches of the side of my vehicle. In order to avoid being hit, I had to move my vehicle more towards the center of the roadway because this idiot was not giving up. Finally, when traffic stopped and there was no place for him to go he had to continue further up the right lane and ended up forcing his vehicle in front of some other poor person because he needed to get over. I immediately found the number to shuttlemed and called them to let them know about this driver's road demeanor. While I was waiting to speak to someone he ultimately pulled into an office location at 1400 North Harbor Blvd. while I was on phone I managed to snap a couple of shots of the driver, his van, his license plate, and his vehicle ID number. He got out of his van and I told him that I thought he drove like crap and that I was getting one of his supervisors on the phone. You can see in the photo that I added that he was all thumbs up about it and couldn't care less. It was at this point I was completely shocked. He opened up the rear van doors and I could see that inside he was transporting someone in a wheelchair!!! It was at about this time the supervisor finally got on the phone and I explained the situation to him. He seemed as though he cared, however, he did seem a bit nonchalant about the whole event. He assured me that they would be looking into this incident and would be speaking with the driver about it. At the end of that call I did not get a good feeling that anything would happen. Prior to writing my review I read the other review left by someone else where it discussed the driver running a red light. It's apparent that shuttlemed is only interested in taking someone's money and trying to get someone from point A to point B whether it's safely or not. Unfortunately, on Yelp you have to click at least one star. If it was at all possible this company would get a -100 star review from me. IF YOU VALUE THE LIFE OF YOUR LOVED ONES YOU WILL NOT LET shuttlemed TRANSPORT THEM ANYWHERE!!!

My dad's nurse reached out in the early evening hours to let me know my dad's wheelchair transportation ride to his PET scan the following morning had been cancelled. I called a couple of transport company's but they were already closed for the day. Ricardo answered my call and was able to provide a ride for my dad's appointment in the morning. He picked him up as scheduled and got him there safe and on time. So grateful.

Then we had to change our start date because of street service and Armstrong accommodated us. My mom didn't quite need to be on a stretcher but she couldn't stand without assistance. Other companies refused to help her and said we would have to get a stretcher, except because of the narrow hallways it wouldn't work. Armstrong had no problem using a wheelchair and assist my mom to stand up. They were very professional, accommodating, and reasonably priced. They stayed in communication with me all the time. Unfortunately we didn't get to use them long as my mother passed shortly after we started using Armstrong but I am grateful that they made it easy and affordable for us. If you ever need transportation, this is an outstanding company.

On Friday, March 13 at 5:30 PM, I was waiting in line to get gas during a busy afternoon. While I was patiently waiting, a driver in a company vehicle (identified as "Elizabeth" or "Liz") began aggressively honking at me, demanding that I move to another pump even though another car was already backing into that spot. At first, I assumed the honking wasn't directed at me. However, when I got out to begin pumping gas, she started yelling from inside the company vehicle, calling me names and saying, "I'm not scared of you, bitch I'm going to beat you up." This behavior was especially concerning given that there was a passenger and an elderly individual in the vehicle at the time. I approached the vehicle calmly to ask for her name so I could report the incident. I explained that her behavior was inappropriate, especially while representing her company. Her response? "Okay, so." I immediately contacted the company to report the situation. Despite multiple calls and promises that I would be connected with upper management, nothing has been done. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone responsible for transporting others potentially vulnerable individuals. I strongly urge others to be cautious and reconsider trusting this company with the care of their loved ones. If anyone from the company sees this, I am still waiting for a proper response.

Andrew texted me and then he soon after called me to confirm who he was picking up from where and to confirm the destination and then to collect the payment. Andrew was courteous and was prompt. He also said that he would be contacting me to let me know my mother was safely at her destination. I was not notified and when called Andrew said "he forgot". That was not too professional, how do you "forget" such an important obligation? Other than that everything else worked out well.

They always greet the client with, professionalism, compassion, and the willingness to help. Every time I call the dispatchers to check on ETA's. They're very accurate and very helpful. The teams that always come out to pick up clients and take them to their destination always seem to be working as a team they have demonstrated in making the client comfortable when entering their ambulance. I've been working with this company for over a year through my employment, and they have not disappointed me yet.
