This is going to be my first review, and I truly feel that Golden Heart deserves to be recognized…read more I found Golden Heart when I was under an incredible amount of stress. My mom needed to go to the ER. I had called the paramedics, but they explained that although her situation wasn't considered an "emergency," she still needed to see a doctor. My mom is non-mobile, nonverbal, and has dementia, so finding transportation was extremely difficult. I contacted her insurance, but unfortunately, they did not cover non-emergency transportation. Kaiser provided me with a few nonprofit organizations that assist seniors, but unfortunately, none of them were able to help. I started calling private transportation companies, but because it was a Sunday, no one was available. I was desperately searching for someone who could help us. I was completely overwhelmed, stressed, and honestly, I was about to cry from frustration. Then, thankfully, I found Rami Cohen through a private transportation company. Rami listened to my situation and referred me to Delia at Golden Heart. I called Delia and explained what I needed. Without hesitation, she was already on her way to meet me and my mom. She was truly a Godsend. Delia picked us up, took my mom to the ER, and then came back about 4 hours later to pick us up and take us safely home. My family and I are truly grateful to both Rami and Delia for helping us when we needed it most. Delia was kind, professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring about our situation. She made an extremely stressful day so much easier for me. Golden Heart will forever be my first call when my mom needs transportation. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable, and professional care. Thank you, Rami and Delia, for being there when we needed you.

I might have paid less if I used a city service or access. But there was no availability and city transportation only drives within their our city limits. Rami our driver was prompt on arrival, assisted with getting my mom into & off the van and waited until her appointment was complete. I would definitely use his service again if I got into another situation as I did today. Sometimes paying alittle extra has its advantages. Thank You again Golden Heart & Rami for exceptional service!! Thank You Rami

I would NEVER recommend Cali Van Medical Transportation! I had a scheduled procedure that required…read moreanesthesia, and I would need a driver to get me home. I contacted Cali Van and spoke with Nick. I explained the situation and my needs, as I would need no special equipment. I was informed that this is a common service they provide. This conversation took place on a Monday, and the upcoming Thursday was the day of the procedure. I was also told I just needed to give the company information to the medical staff so they would know who would be picking me up, and they would be able to coordinate the discharge time with their arrival. I used ride share to get to the procedure location. I gave the contact information to the nurse, who told me my transportation would need to be confirmed before the procedure could even begin. I was later informed they were not able to connect with anyone at Cali Van, and the voicemail was full. I then started calling and had the same result; no answer, and the voicemail was full. I'm now starting to panic because I had prepared for the procedure, and I had confirmed with Nick the date and time of my transportation need. Fortunately, I was able to find someone else to pick me up after the procedure. It's been approximately 3 weeks since this happened, and neither Nick nor anyone else from Cali Van has attempted to contact me to acknowledge their failure to be available for my scheduled pickup after a medical procedure. The lack of professionalism from Cali Van was unacceptable, stressful, and inexcusable for a company that is working with people in sensitive medical situations. Who just ignores a confirmed medical transportation appointment pickup? Cali Van Medical Transportation does!

Because of her narrow staircase which has a 90-degree turn to get upstairs to her bedroom, we HAD to have a "stair chair." I called several companies until I found Cali Van. They had the specialized chair and it worked beautifully. The driver sent out, Jasur (sp?), was kind, efficient, considerate, and cared about my mom. Mom (95 yrs old) had a fractured leg and had to be handled very carefully to avoid any unnecessary pain and Jasur treated her with kid gloves. The price was more than reasonable. They were on time (actually early!). With all the stress associated getting Mom home & coordinating all the other services, Cali Van was the ONLY ONE that performed seamlessly and didn't add to my stress level. I'm extremely grateful to have found them and recommend them highly.

As they were taking him into his bedroom as he has been put on hospice has two fractured bones in his tailbone and suffering from lung cancer. They dropped him!! Onto the floor. The guy stated Oh I thought I dropped you on a pillow. My brother stated are you crazy!. I contacted the supervisors who said there is no incident report that should be given to the family. The EMTs that were on scene gathered in a huddle stated stayed outside did not provide an incident report and then simply left. I am now calling the supervisor. I want to talk to management. Do not use this service if you love your family. How do you drop a terminally ill man who is 61 years old on the floor. The manager called me back and stated that the for EMTs said they did not drop my brother. That is a lie!!. I'll be getting an attorney. I don't understand how you're supposed to care for somebody and you drop them on the floor, lie and say your supervisor. Stand around and ask if he's okay. I I contact management and they said that the for EMTs reported that they did not drop my brother. I don't have any reason to lie about what happened to him. My brother has cancer and is terminally ill what am I gaining telling the world that Liberty Ambulance carrier Transportation or whatever the hell they're called suck! Do not use the service they will lie and cheat do negligence and bodily harm to your loved one it just happened to us. It's important to let people know I had no idea that you would drop my brother on the floor and then say you lowered him to the ground really! I tried to try use these people because they had great reviews, and I think they bought the reviews because the service was NOT that... they gave me RACIST Vibes .... Would they have set a white woman on the ground after her $50,000 plastic surgery and Racist Orange County? NO‼I had a surgery on my back that cost me $50,000 and had a nonemergency ambulance pick me up so that I wouldn't have to put any stress on my incisions in this process. I told them they wouldn't be able to go up the stairs with that gurney and they refused to listen to me. Very likely because I'm a BLACK woman... though I told them more than once to get more than one sheet and they refused..... and then when I got too heavy for them because they were not strong enough to do their jobs they sent me on the concrete on my open wound from my four hour surgery before that... not once not twice but THREE times and then when we finally got to the door, he had to sit me down again, and my face was in his sweaty CROTCH because he didn't have the strength to pick me up... I have a witness to all of this.. I have to have a revision on that surgery that will cost me no less than the original surgery so I need financial compensation either. We can resolve this out of court or I can see them in the courtroom‼ I have included photos to show you how my body healed normally on the left side where they didn't sit me on the ground and how differently it healed on the right side after having 20 surgeries I've never had a scar that was keloid and that's what happened because they caused my incision to open, and I have pains their constantly‼ they have to pay for their incompetence and negligence‼ go elsewhere. They are better places cheaper is not better. He begged me not to write this review so he gave me a refund. I told him you will know in three weeks if I'm writing a review or not it took me six weeks to heal so here's the review. They messed up my $50,000 surgery and I must be compensated and reimbursed because I have to go through it again in the story either we settle out of court or we go to court and you can tell my lawyer about it
