We have used Brothers Builders on 3 different projects: two for our house over a span of about 12…read moreyears and one at a huge remediation project for our condo where they fixed up things the original builders had done poorly (we had nothing to do with their selection, but was happy to see them on the project). We could not have asked for better workers. The guys are very respectful, they worked really hard to be considerate of our tenant's needs (including her pets), you could hear the directions about attention to detail, and they cleaned up after themselves. To be balanced, if I could make one improvement it would be turn around time for returned phone calls. But given my experiences in the world of contractors, they are in the best group (I've found contractors to not be the fastest on call turn around time). As for the person complaining about them mucking up her neighborhood - she's also blasting them on NextDoor and isn't even a customer. I contacted Brothers Builder on her behalf and Scott is very concerned about getting this resolved to her satisfaction. Scott asked me to let her know that he is trying to reach her to resolve the issue (he can't get on the Nextdoor list himself because he/the business numbers don't match up to the neighborhoods). He said he has the necessary permits to park in the street and is doing work to hook up utilities in the street, but of course wants to work with her to make this the best situation he can given the constraints of the area and the project. He asked me to give her his direct phone number so she can call any time. I sent that to her and asked her to share her positive resolution with Yelp and Nextdoor because I have confidence in these guys that they'll bend over backwards to make this the best it can be.

When Randy got here, he was not familiar with our wall mount bracket, and asked if I had kept the manual on it.... Manual? No problem. Randy got the model number off of the mount (how he could see that I will never know) and one quick Google search later, and he was off and running. 30 minutes later, and the new set was up; the cabling was impeccably dressed, and he had earned one great Yelp review! A small company with a very friendly and professional touch. Outstanding!

I first had a complete speaker system and hookup installed in my office. The job was clean, looks great, and sound exactly how I had hoped. After the sound system, I called them back to do the phone system install for the entire office. Randy spent extra time reviewing the various functions of the phone with me which was so helpful. The install was clean and looks great. Randy and Preferred Connections did a great job and I would go with them again any day, no doubt.

His recommendations were spot on, when it came time to perform the work, they were on time - completely on budget - and fixed EVERYTHING!! After completely wiring an un-wired house built in the 60s, Robert made sure to meet comcast technician and guide him throughout the setup (even though we had to wait a full day for them to come!). They didn't charge me extra, did any adjustment I asked for, and made this project a great and fun experience. It is also important to mention that every single cable he installed worked properly the first time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE OUT THERE!!!

We were VERY pleased with the work performed!! Dan and his crew completed the expansion of our…read moredining area and added a large pantry and an entertainment center in the family room. All the work (much of it custom) was done professionally, neatly, on time, and within our budget!! We felt very comfortable opening up the house to them to do work when we weren't there. We are pretty handy and Dan was willing to work with us on the portions of the project we were able to handle ourselves! This saved us $$ and helped us feel we were a part of the end result. We had another major renovation on a second house we were unable to move forward on because of funding availability. We had the full plans and we were looking forward to working with Dan and Debbie again. They are very easy to communicate with and were willing to meet with our designer to give us a bid that covered the improvements. Even though we were unable to complete this project, the planning process and dreams of the completed project were fun to go through with them. We would highly recommend Daniel Mackey Construction to others and DEFINITELY use them again for any future work we need!

We are very happy with their work and would happily hire them again. On all our projects, they have been consistently on-time, on-budget, and on-call. When unexpected issues arise, they let us know quickly and helped problem solve solutions. All the while, they designed solutions that are modern in execution, but match the arts and craft style of our 90+ year-old home. We are thrilled with the finished product and even more excited that we avoided the 'contractor nightmares' that so many others have experienced with other firms. We highly recommend Mackey Construction.

We've had them work in our home multiple times - as we've continued to build on the system initially installed by the awesome team. We've had a home theater installed, as well as had our house wired with speakers - both indoors and out. We have also had quality components installed based on their recommendations. Terry, Grayson and Dennis do care a great deal about ensuring you have a quality system and a supreme sound experience. I consider their prices to be VERY reasonable given the quality of product, work and amount of labor which goes into what they do for you. Given my multiple experiences with Design Interaction I can honestly say I would recommend them without reservation.

The system was originally installed by Design Interaction when the house was build a few years back. Grayson and Terry did/do amazing work. It's very professional, clean, organized. Since the initial install, we've needed a few product add-ons and updates and both Grayson and Terry have been super. They are both very knowledgeable about the latest technologies and products on the market. We wanted to add some technology that would allow us to stream Netflix to main TV and also needed some minor repairs and reconfigurations done. Grayson was great at outlining our options and associated costs and although he could have easily "suggested" the most expensive option, he ended up recommending the lower cost solution that met our needs. During the installation of that project, he found that our outside speakers were no longer working as well as they should be, he took them down, followed up on the warranty and returned with a new set of higher end speakers no cost to us. When we switch our cable providers Grayson came to do some adjustments and he even took several calls on his cell phone after he left because we had a few additional questions....Overall, a GREAT experience working with Grayson and Terry, I highly recommend using Design interaction for all your electronics and home entertainment system needs.

When we were referred to Robert by a mutual friend that used to be in the business we immediately knew he was going to be the one. Robert worked with our budget, gave us great tips on equipment (cost was important to us) and was very honest with us when he did not think we were making the right call. To be honest this is our first home theatre and we were kind of clueless. We always felt Robert had our best interest in mind and trusted him wholeheartedly. When other vendors were running behind RVC was able to adjust their schedule to fit the new timeline. They were always on time, on track and on budget. We were having a Super Bowl party and my husbands birthday as the "grand reveal" and were super stressed as the date was quickly approaching. Robert reassured us that he would do everything in his power to ensure we were ready in time for the party. Our contractors were behind, again, and finally finished their part of the job at 7pm Friday night. Yikes! Robert took time out of his Saturday night and worked tirelessly to ensure that we were all set for the party the next day. I recently underwent a full rebuild of my house and hired Robert and his team at RVC Systems to handle AV, networking, camera and security systems for the house. The project is just nearing completion now and I am delighted with the result. I had a professional AV system put in about 15 years ago and was quite happy with it. However, in additional to newer technology which is obviously expected to be better, the attention and support from RVC putting everything together was fantastic. We have Sonos throughout the house, multiple surround sound video systems, an excellent remote access camera system, Ubiquity networking, and security and RVC integrated everything together with RTI single remotes in each room. The great experience began two years ago when I met Robert and he put together the design and plan for the house. Robert is competent and knowledgable about the current technologies available and had very good suggestions that definitely improved the design in ways that I would not have thought of were it not for him, and did not pressure me to go a particular direction in the least. There are products that work better together than others and he suggested them while keeping within what I wanted to do. He and his team came in at the right times during construction to install wiring and rough-ins, the equipment and did some of the cleanest and most impressive cable routing and rack installations I have ever seen. For those of you who appreciate perfection behind the cabinet doors as well as in front, a lot of people say they can do it, but Robert and his team actually can do it. At the end of the project, RVC Systems has exceeded my expectations which in nearly every metric I consider important-- quality, system design, interoperability, support and all for a reasonable price. I have already recommended RVC to a couple friends who have also had good experiences and would am happy to do so again.
