Never happened. ! I called several days later to be told my salesperson is busy and would like to leave voicemail. I said I would not ! My previous voice mail was not returned. I needed to talk to her . She returned my call several hours later. I ask her about my faucet set and if it had come in ? She had forgotten all about it . Once she had my money she could care less . She had to call the business in Texas to check on it . She returned my call to tell me that it was still sitting on their que what ever that was and it would take several days to be processed and sent out . I informed her at this time I had not had running water in my kitchen for 2 weeks and her Comment was Oh My Goodness! Not I am sorry for not staying on top of this . Not for keeping one of those little Post a notes as a reminder that a faucet has been ordered and I need to monitor this . Sorry, I have not stayed in touch with you to keep you in formed . Sorry that I did not return your call . My plumber happens to be Lenny's Plumbing on Transcontinental and when I call them they return my call in a reasonable amount of time . Their work is excellent and reasonable. I will never ever use Southland again because of that one sales person. She made me feel so insignificant and unimportant. Infact , I didn't need most of the parts according to my plumbers that installed the faucet and sprayer . They used their covers to plug the 2 holes I would not be needing .

The new lamps still looked great and after 3 years, we have not had a problem with them. That convinced us to take the old lamps to them to be gussied up as they were showing their age after 25 years. They came back looking good. The main complaint is service at the store front. They don't appear to keep regular hours, but that may be due to the staff appearing to be one man. If you can deal with that, the quality of work is great.

They have quite a selection to choose from, almost overwhelming. The oval birdcage knobs were the final touch for that rustic look to the kitchen renovation. We went with a more modern pewter and crystal look in the bathroom. Service is always great. You are greeted pretty much as soon as you enter the store. They'll let you peruse the displays without hovering over your shoulders. If you need advice, they are there. They saved me one time from making a mistake. I have no complaints. They'll also handle custom cabinets, although you have to order from a book. There are plenty of other hardware from fancy front door locks to new hinges for cabinet doors. We have been quite satisfied with quality of their products and will return when the next renovation project starts up.

I haven't reviewed these guys yet? Ugh…read more So, here's my story for why I love Northern Tool (and not that other store, yeck). I was shopping for a little trailer to use around the house for small projects, landscaping, stuff like that. I called around to the "other store," looking for the trailer they had on sale, but I was treated very rudely. Not rude like, "what do you want?" Nooooo, this lady went so far as to put me on hold for 10 minutes while she 'went to check the availability of the trailer.' That's not such a bad thing until someone else accidentally picked up the phone to ask who I was holding for and this voice in the background says, "put him back on hold, he can wait." Actually, no, I couldn't and I hung up on your store...haven't been back since, either. Anyway, that's just to illustrate why I went to Northern Tool, instead, but here's why I will continue to visit. I did buy my folding trailer from Northern Tool, loaded it up, then proceeded to ignore the boxes it came in for about 6 months. When I finally got around to assembling it, I found that I was missing an entire box of parts. OH NO! Dejected and sad and a little ashamed, I loaded up the parts and made the trudge back to the store. I explained my situation, bought it a long time ago, turns out I am missing parts, the original packaging was damaged, yada yada yada. The guy looks at me, walks in the back, then comes out with a box on a cart. THEY REALIZED I HAD FORGOTTEN A BOX AND PUT IT ON A SHELF FOR ME!!! Y'all, you can't beat customer service like that anywhere. NT is my new go to. Plus, it's a really clean store, their products are terrific, and the people are some of the best you're gonna meet.
