When we first moved here we didn't know anyone and really needed a trusted financial investment…read morecompany to work with to help us figure out our future. We can't express how pleased and happy we were to find TVFP. Jonathan Belnap and Dillan Egbert provide services, above and beyond your normal financial institution such as, free initial consultations, breakdown of their fees upfront on their website, detail oriented review after each meeting, and guiding us along every step of the way with great transparency. You don't feel like "just another client" or "number" they get to know you and you get to know them adding that trusted relationship you don't get with most banks/advisors. In fact, they didn't start with the idea that they would "tell" us how to invest our money, but rather had the conversation of what do we want to see, discussed how they would make our money work for us in more detail, and they even put into action an investment of our request. We can't say enough how well they have managed our money creating yearly buckets, helping us reach our retirement goals and fun goals! We can call or reach out to them anytime with questions and we are comforted that they understand our goals and market timing to keep us stress free financially. We highly recommend Treasure Valley Financial Planning to give you the best nest for financial freedom!

David has been handling my investments for 4 years. I came to him after attending a free session…read moreon "Taxes in Retirement". I found him to be very knowledgeable, helpful, and others had highly recommended him. He completely changed my high-risk investments, to mostly Annuities. I use a financial advisor because I don't have the expertise they do. While I did transfer my funds at a good time, since the market dropped significantly afterwards, I did lose money during the transfer which I was not informed of in advance. I have to take blame for not asking more questions of my previous advisor and David. All in all, I feel my money has been secure with David, and he warned I would not see large gains and losses. However, it is a disappointment to know there are significant penalties with moving money early from annuities. The personnel in David's office are very friendly and helpful. I recommend David and his staff as financial advisors. I feel they have done a good job for me. I also recommend becoming educated to know the questions to ask, by interviewing multiple advisors before making a final decision. Because once you are invested it is very timely and costly to make changes.

Evan was patient and knowledgeable with us from the start, and made the process easy.
