Virginia was amazing to work with and is extremely easy to chat with - she makes you feel extremely comfortable through the process (and it is a painful overall area to work with). Being a woman with dark hair, I have been to and tried several different practices and types of procedures over the years and I do have to say that I would consider my personal experience with Ideal Image so far falls under that age old saying "you get what you pay for". They have a huge billboard sign which I took a horrible picture of but you can see it on US 19 but by the time you read the humongous billboard you are already passing the location. Ideal image is located in an office building on the second or third floor I don't remember The office looks small from the outside but once you go inside it's rather big. This location in Palm Harbor offers several facial treatments skin treatments fillers such as Botox disport etc. etc. I found them online then once I did further research I realize they had specials on Groupon. They also do you bodyslamming treatments and light procedures which they offered Groupon specials for as well. Everyone inside of that facility literally had flawless skin. None of the staff will try to sell you on anything everyone is super friendly and helpful. I'm going to be honest. I've done electrolysis for over a year at one medspa and 6 treatments of laser hair removal at a prestigious medspa in bellair bluffs. I decided to pull the trigger at ideal image because of laser equipment reviews. There are only 2 spas that have it withi a 50 mile radius. On one treatment I see a drastic and noticeable difference. I am giving 4 stars because I think the price is absurd, you pay for a package you may not have to use it's entirety of alongside a "lifelong" membership that's only for a year so that part is a little deceiving. I don't know where they find these people, but by far the worst customer service I have ever received. My appointment was for 10am. I live in downtown st Pete. I left with plenty of time to get to palm harbor by 10. When I hit US-19, traffic is a screeching halt and there is an accident, construction, etc. When I called to let them know that I'm on my way, I was told "well we can't see you until 6pm if you're late. You were scheduled at 10am for a reason." When I explained to them what is going on I was told "well you should have scheduled with the St Pete location." I didn't even go into the details of how st Pete location botched my face and left me with over 90units of Botox and STILL no results. The arrogance and attitude of this young lady is beyond unacceptable. I was told to "come sit around and wait until the nurse has down time to see you. But I don't know what to tell you. YOU are late, not us." Then she said "just get here and we'll see what we can do." And hung up. I not only played phone tag for a few days, they just ended up never calling back after my.last message. Now I've gotten botox a few times before in CA, so know what the results should be. I searched for a place here and thought Ideal was the place. I went in for a laser hair consult and ended up getting botox. Not only did I pay much more than other places around and what I was used to... I did not get the results I am used to. I'm not sure why the unit amount I have always gotten (and it worked like magic) suddenly doesn't with them doing it. The entire process felt different. She claimed "I have my method" .... all I consider that method to be is crap... resulting in a botched job making me have to find another place to get MORE unuts and spend MORE money to achieve the result I normally get with 18. They told me that I could come back within 7 days if I didn't get the results desired for a free unit. I called twice to schedule that and nobody called me back so I'm not quite sure why they they would offer that if they don't honor it. People here were really nice. Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. The laser left darkened spots on my legs on the third time I went which are still there 6 months later. They are still fading. I am hoping that in another 6 months they will be completely gone. Now I can't show my legs in public. It doesn't matter if there is less hair on them or not. That is very disappointing. I have very white skin and dark hair, and they told me I was the perfect laser hair removal candidate. I got my biking line, inner thighs, and my under arms. I don't like to use drugs or numbing cream and told them that when I signed up. They tried one laser burst to make sure I would be fine with it and tolerate the pain. It's definitely painful. Like someone sticking you with a needle. The first girl went really slow and stopped each time and made me feel as comfortable as possible. So I decided I would be okay with that. They don't keep you with the same tech each time. Whoever is available. The other girls went faster. Also, it was MUCH more painful. one thing they didn't tell me is the laser would get more intense as the sessions went. By the third time it was unbearable. And then the pulses where the laser were left spots all over my legs - very red and irritated. The tech said they were go away but they never did. They just turned to brown. When I called in, they wanted me to come in but due to my work schedule I couldn't come in immediately. I sent them pictures but they couldn't give me any advice. They said maybe I was in the sun and got exposure without knowing it (you cannot tan while you are doing hair removal), but my legs are so white and I work inside ALL DAY. I definitely was NOT in the sun AT ALL. When I finally had an appointment they had to cancel it due to the hurricane. After this, there were no appointments for weeks and they couldn't accommodate. I finally gave up. I wrote in to ask them to cancel my monthly, but they never responded. They kept charging me. I had to put a stop payment on my card from the bank to keep them from charging me. I do see less coarse hair on my underarms after 3 treatments, thankfully. But because of the spots on my legs and the pain, and the frustration of not having appointments available when I was able to go in means that I will never go back because I could never trust them to bring that laser anywhere near me without messing up my skin for years. They did not tell me there was a risk of getting brown spots on my legs that would not go away. This was in 2017. read more

I went in for a consultation on Saturday and the office was very clean and the staff was professionally. I looked into laser hair removal for my bikini area and was quoted $5600 but they were running a special that brought the price down to $2,100. My only problem was I met with a consultant who explained the procedure and than started talking numbers. I feel that I should've consulted with the person performing the procedure not someone who isn't medically trained. I ended up not signing up because I felt they were more about the money. Wasnt bad at first. the laser techs themselves do a good job, but the protocall must change every time I come in because sometimes a Brazilian means just ur butthole and sometimes it means ur entire butt is getting the treatment. About 2 weeks ago I had an appointment booked. I received no confirmation texts or emails so as I'm driving to my appointment I called 3x and no one answered. upon arrival they said that the appointment got canceled without any warning and they were unable to book me at all and the front desk lady didn't know why. She said she would call me when she found out and it's been 2 weeks. I've tried calling, but it's some dumb voice machine and not a real person. I haven't gotten even an email from them. I am still paying for my services with no way of getting them apparently. also you are required to sign a bunch of papers and do this lifelong program, which the lady I spoke with on the phone was so rude and I sat on the phone for over an hour. Total=$25,696 They had a 50% discount offer for December so the total after that was 12,848 final price. I was then offered a 10% discount if I committed to the services that day which left me with a price of $11,563. I was also told I would need 8 treatments (Yes I'm hairy but not amazon hairy). I decided to do some comparison shopping, I was then told that I wouldn't find another place that is as good as Ideal Image, and that other places that do laser hair removal are mostly scams and don't know what they are doing (which I know is not true). I called some other laser treatment places and when I told them about my price of $11,563, they said that is much, much more than what they charge, but they can do so because people are willing to go to ideal image and pay their prices. I have been a customer since 2009. This has completely changed my shaving routine to essentially non existent. For me, I had the the perfect hair coloring for the removal to be effective. I mainly only shave once a month if that. I used to shave in the morning and by the evening I was bristly again. It drove me crazy! Now I always have smooth legs, armpits and bikini area. I love that I don't have to shave all the time and get that annoying and painful razor burn that we are all too familiar with. For me this was completely worth it. My shower time has been cut in half as well. I don't even think about shaving anymore, it is a non issue and I love that! I have had laser surgery on my upper neck, chin, hands, and my upper lip. I am very happy with the results and it saves me money in the long run, as opposed to painful waxings every month and shaving. The area is smooth and I don't get ingrown hair bumps. Loved it for bikini area and underarms... did not know the laser goes up in settings eventually so I will be getting the numbing cream they offer. It is worth it though the hair gets lighter and lighter (not coarse) where I forget to shave and I'm fine and then I'll have a good few weeks without hair until the next "cycle" comes in but it does get smaller each time. They're also super friendly here and I listen to music during my treatments as well. read more
