I was getting laser treatments done on my Brazilian area for over 2 years at multiple different sites. I decided to get a touch up at the Kendall location. During the treatment, it was burning so much I had to tell her to stop a couple times. I went immediately home and had to put an icepack on and rest because of the pain for a couple days. Within the next couple days, I started noticing big black scabs all over my Brazilian area, and now i am completely discolored and it looks terrible. I called the office and they simply told me that it was normal and that sometimes that happens. I have had plenty of treatments in the past and never once have I had scabs or this terrible pain. I started going to this branch after relocating back to Miami from Kansas City. I've only had good experiences here. I come once about every eight weeks to treat/lazer multiple areas. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and I never wait five minutes pass my scheduled appointment time. When scheduling my next appointment, the options available are pretty flexible, which works with my work schedule. The laser hair removal treatment is pretty pricey, but well worth it. I wish I had done it years ago. There are financing options available that pretty much add up to the same amount you would spend paying for waxes or sugaring every month. There are also deals from time to time, so be on the lookout for those. Please note that after you are done with your treatments, there is a chance that you may have some hair grow back but very little (patches) and it is a lot finer. It started off wrong over the phone, days prior when making the appt i called to verify i could do facial first (next door) before upper lip laser service, after being on hold for 5 min receptionist confirmed it was fine so i booked laser post facial, when i arrived they told me I couldn't do it... that was the whole point of me verifying otherwise I would've booked laser first! I only ended up doing my armpits which ended up being a nightmare for me... look at the pics, they completely burned me on my left side causing me unbearable pain. I went back to them and at first they tried to say it was because i probably hadn't cleaned the area correctly until they finally told me they did left side stronger so it could make a difference.... too strong to the point that it burned the crap out of me! I've been putting aloe vera and aquaphor with ice but its not helping. This is NOT a cheap place, I've done in the past plenty sessions and never has this happened. Well, after hearing the ad on the radio I decided to give my wife a surprise on her BD. We received information about the treatment but not the REAL information, according to the sales rep the treatment was easy, NOT painfull at all, well let me tell you that they are just selling, they lie and they use FAKE information and as soon they get your credit card there is nothing to do. We paid more than $1500 for the treatment and an auto renew anual membership of $299 which nobody explained/ advised us (small letters nobody read). My wife went to the first appoiment but in the middle of the first sesion she decided to stop because of the pain and burning feeling on her face skin . All this was the oposite to what they had explained us. We asked for a reimburstment and cancelation of the treatment and signed agreement but all this was NOT Possible, the will tell you that there is no cancelation or returning money according to the contract. After placing our claim and rejected the treatment, in addition, one year later they charged us with the membership renewal AGAIN, yes AGAIN!!! We call the bank to make a dispute which ended in NOTHING..... I called Ideal Image HQ "Customer service" and you know what? After I ask her why she's charging me so much per unit while there's a special going on, she tells me I'm not purchasing the minimum amount of units to qualify for the special. I ask her to look at my account as I have NEVER paid $13 per unit with them, which she confirmed that I actually pay $9 per unit. She proceeds to ask the manager if they can honor my price or at least give me a discount at leaving it at $10 per unit. I have been going to Ideal Image for a year now with the purpose of removing hair from my chin and jawline. I had a virtual consultation to discuss my goals and I explained that I have a medical condition that causes me to grow hair (like a beard) and it made me very self conscious and uncomfortable so I finally got the money to be able to take care it. I started treatments soon after that consultation and everything was going well. The hair in that area is nearly gone with very small spots that have very thin hair left to treat. I went in for a follow-up appointment recently to get another treatment and the technician refused to treat the area I was in for saying that my contract did not cover that area. After explaining my medical condition and the reason I started laser treatments in the first place on top of the fact that every treatment I've had since I began laser hair removal covered the area previously, she still refused so I asked to speak with the manager. After asking several times, the manager met with me in her office. She heard my story and after humiliating myself in front her with the details of my medical condition and history, the manager called in another technician (who had treated me as well) to ask her to tell me where the treatment area should be. This technician lied about what areas she was treating on me in front of the manager (to save her job I can only assume). I explained to the manager that this technician, along with every other that has treated me covered the area and I showed proof (i.e. my skin and lack of hair) and she either did not believe me or did not care about what position financially I was in to be able to have these treatments done. I only have 3 treatments left to complete the service but the staff refused to complete my treatment of the area I paid for. This company is a scam and none of the staff cares about the person they are treating. If you are in the medical and service industry, then you need to have staff who is caring and understanding of people and their needs. Instead, you have staff that scams people out of their hard earned money to make a sales quota and technicians that are rude and could care less about the patient they are treating. On my most recent appointment to Ideal Image, I ended up being 40 minutes early for my appointment because I forgot my own calendar trick. Leslie greeted me upfront and even accomodated me because I was so early. She was incredibly fast and professional!! Mid treatment I was stressing out (I forgot to fill the script for the numbing cream) and Leslie talked me through it ans was patient when I asked for breaks. I was starting to chicken out about the upper lip (and even though delaying part of the treatment is an option) and she offered an ice pack. I was skeptical, but the ice pack helped!!! I went here for laser hair removal and coolsculpting. COOLSCULPTING is a rip off. The staff out at the Kendall location are so nonchalant . First it takes 3 months to see results supposedly. I went in for my 3 month evaluation and it looked the same. The lady says the problem is you gained weight. I went right next door to publix and my weight was the same in fact to pounds less. She then tells me I need another round which is about $1000 more dollars or I can try some other procedure that cost about the same. What really upset me was she tried to make me think I gained weight instead of just saying. This shit doesn't work for everyone. Also it took 8 weeks or more for me to get my before and after pictures. Another thing that is laughable is that after this they didn't even call to remind me of my laser hair removal and when I finally went they hot me out of there so fast. They know they ripped me off. I've been going to ideal image now for over a year. I signed up for only one treatment (upper lip) to check the place out and see if I liked it. The process of the upper lip would take a year and a half to complete. 9 treatments. I thought that the pricing was very very expensive. $1,100 for such a small area. That really turned me off. After 6 treatments I've only noticed about a 50% hair loss and the staff isn't very nice or educated in my opinion. Leslie is the only one worth while there. She's excellent. However the rest of the experience has turned me off to the point where I will never do business here again. I highly recommend essence day spa which is close by. Uses the same lasers and is 90% cheaper and nicer. This place is a rip off and way too pricy for the attitude. read more

Cool sculpting is a complete scam, does not work. I have spent more than 7 THOUSAND DOLLARS on cool sculpting and have not seen any results. I am still paying for it and I would say I that I have not lost 1 inch nor is my midsection any shapelier than it was before. I have no regrets in life except this one I'm still paying for it and nothing to show for it. The staff is nice but cool sculpting is a definitely a scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Not to mention the PAIN I had to endure. They say that its a non invasive painless procedure the only part that is true is the non invasive part. The pain woke me up in the middle of the night and then it took them over 12 hours to get the prescription to the pharmacy. Once I finally had the medication it still took another 2 - 3 days to stop the pain since it was a nuro inhibiter which blocks the pain signals from reaching your brain. Over all I am completely dissatisfied for the price I paid and the pain I went through I should have just done liposuction; at least I would have had results. I still have two more sessions to complete the laser hair removal of my legs but as of now I don't even have to shave except for every 3 to 4 weeks. The pain is very difficult to handle at this point in my treatment but the technicians are always very considerate and take their time. They allow me to break up my sessions into two days so that I can manage the pain more comfortably.
