She didn't pressure me into anything and clearly went over everything I needed to know about the procedures I was interested in. I have recently finished all my treatments. I am disgusted with the results. I paid a great deal of $$ for this. My hair is still coming back. They told me I could take advantage of their "lifetime" MEMBERSHIP. This cost $40 for every visit!! after i already spent tons on treatments in the first place. I paid all upfront and really wish i would have read reviews before I made my decision to turn to Ideal Image. There are other locations in Austin, these may be better. SCAM! Gave me scars just before my tahiti wedding! Been going for over a year and under arm hair (dark hair on light skin) still abundant. $4k treatment with a "guarantee" that means NOTHING. They won't refund ANY money. they won't give extra tratements unless you pay $150 per treatment which is way more than other places charge for sevral treatments. Ideal Image is a RIP OFF. Those that say they are happy after the first treatment don't realize the hair comes back after a month! My undearms are only 5% better than before I started. The assured me the laser would work because it's dark hair on light skin. The GUARANTEED IT WOULD WORK but their guarantee is worthless. I've emailed and called and complained and went to the corporate office and they told me there's nothing they can do. AVOID this company. SCAM customer service is the WORST EVER. If you don't believe me talk to me before you sign up with them. I'll show you pictures and share my horrible experience with you! I can guarantee you will NOT be happy with them. you can send your questions notmerealemail and then the at sign and it's at yahoo dc. I will do anything to keep people from going to this company. The only reason for the loss of a star is because of the start up. I had originally started treatments about 3 years ago. I had my total paid for all 9 treatments by the 3/4 treatment. That's when it all went wrong. I started seeing almost no difference after 3 treatments. I even brought it up to the nurse working with me and she just shrugged her shoulders. I stopped going all together after 7 treatments and no more progress. NOW: I called in and told the receptionist about my experience. I was quickly booked for two appointments to come in. The nurse I worked with this time was much better. When I explained what happened, she tried to explain what could have happened. AND EVEN BETTER: she then explained how she was going to fix it and what my options were. I can already see improvement again!!! read more

Went today for my consultation. Went in was greeted by a nice enough woman brought to the operating room and given the "facts" about laser hair removal then brought me to the office busted out the calculator told me to do a couple patches on my back was going to cost me $10,000- 50%=$5000- daily special of $200 but because she was in charge at that time she was going to give me a WHOLE $750 off today. It wasn't high pressure well maybe just not for me considering I used to sell timeshares. Maybe that's why she didn't try to sell me because I had mentioned I did that. Anyhow I just acted interested and not totally in shock of what they were charging for a total of 5 hrs of treatment. Nuts. Only gave two stars because the doctor was a nice lady. read more

Went for a consult today for upper leg and bikini areas. I'm a pro at laser hair removal because I've had some areas already done. She didn't tell me anything I did know except they charge WAY more than anyone around. I mean c'mon, over 8 grand for two lower legs and a bikini area? Not sure how these people are even surviving. And the laser they use is a common one so don't let them feed you that bull. Will not be doing my treatments here. read more

Do not I repeat do not get hooked. I got pressured after saying no multiple times and I regret it. Mostly because of the pricing. Was ridiculous. On top of that if you finance with their credit card they offer be very aware as I was lied to as to when the first payment and beginning of promo was and ended up going over the promo date because I was going off of what o was told in office. And now I am stuck paying 1100 extra. The credit card is also a setup for you to go over your promo length so you get stuck with the extra finance charge. They are not worried about their customers but only your money. Never will I refer anyone to get themselves into this mess. read more

Absolutely horrible results and the staff is snobbish! Least friendly people I have ever met, I wish I hadn't wasted my money and time! I have dark hair and light skin, the first treatment caused damage to my skin resulting in scabs then pale skin! They said "this is a normal result" Normal? I look like a freak! After hearing so much about this place from listening to KISS FM.. My wife assumed this was a reputable place. She went in for an estimate and consultation for laser hair removal on her lower legs and was taken to a back room and was told it would cost $4500!!!! and that was with a 50% Discount!!!!!! There was so much pressure, it was almost like going to a time share sales pitch. She said she needed more time to research. After making a few phone calls, it turns out, they are at least $3k higher than most everyone else!!! We ended up getting a groupon at Amore Laser for six sessions for $399!! I say again, $399.. They all use the same lasers.. This is what I would call Grand Larceny!!!!!! Avoid this place like the plague! read more

Overall I am very pleased with my experience with Ideal Image at Brodie. I've completed 8 of my 9 treatments on my bikini area and have about 99% hair loss. The staff is very professional and it's a real plus the ladies performing the treatments are registered nurses. I am always able to get an appointment that fits with my schedule and they are great about rescheduling if you miss one. The price is a bit of a shocker and I wasn't a fan of the "If you walk out the door now you will never get this deal" tactic, but they have great financing options if you are ready to make the purchase. I would definitely do it all again if I had to. read more

Like a previous customer said, they have clean facilities and a friendly staff, but the only downfall is the price. Well, so far I've had a great experience with ideal image. My hair on my sideburns, and underarms was thick, course and not looking good at all. So far since signing in and faithfully going to my laser sessions I have seen a difference on my sideburns and underarms. Obviously the tech does explain to you that grays will never go away, but looking at my past pictures I can say I am a satisfied customer. Its not perfect, but my low self-esteem to show the side of my face is no more :) read more

Dishonest business practices are the image. I did not receive a "card" they spoke about at the first appointment bad within 30 days I had not received a bill. When I called corporate ( the local affiliate was unable to answer any questions) I was told that I should receive a bill shortly. I called 10 days later. During that call I was told they had proof they had sent a bill. Really? What is the proof? Why am I the one calling you? When did you send the bill? I asked for another statement to be sent and I was told it would take an additional three weeks. The company insisted I had late payments and finance charges. I told them I would just pay off the balance due , but that I insisted on a statement for my records. The representative said she would take my payment over the phone for an additional $25.00. How many other customers are duped into "late payment" and "finance charges "? read more

I've had the WORST experience with Ideal Image so far! I signed up with the location in San Antonio and had one treatment. I had to move to Austin after a month, so I need to make an appointment at the S. Austin location. You would think since it is the same company that this would be easy, right? ABSOLUTELY NOT. You have to physically go to the store to sign some stupid paper so they can transfer your records. Would have been nice if they had made that clear before hand. I signed the papers about a month ago.... STILL have not been able to get an appointment. First the Austin location says they haven't received my information yet... and again the next week.. and again the next week. The San Antonio location calls me and says before they can send my information, I have to pay off my ENTIRE balance. WHY??? That makes no sense. So whatever, I paid the rest of my balance, totaling just over $1000 for 9 underarm treatments (way too much, I realize now!). Fine, done with that.... The next week I call and I still can't get an appointment. The girl continues to say she'll call me back as soon as she gets my information, and she NEVER calls back. I'm supposed to have my appointment this week but I haven't been able to schedule one. To top things off, I saw they took out another $122 payment today, even though I had supposedly paid off my whole balance! So I've paid $1155.17 to have ONE 3-minute treatment and without being able to schedule another appointment. I'm going to fight to get my money back because this is absolutely ridiculous. Ideal image advertises that they will get you in and out in 15 minutes. I've been about three times and for the most part, it's pretty true. However, today, I was running late for my appointment and when I got there, even though there was no one else waiting in the waiting room and I still had time in my slot to get my laser stuff done, they told me that I had to come back at another time. I called customer service and they admitted that they schedule in 30 minute increments in case people are running late. So, why couldn't they take me? There was still plenty of time! And still the lady on the phone did not even apologize for the inconvenience. The worst thing about this situation is that they didn't even try to see if they could squeeze me in (though no squeezing was even necessary). They simply turned me away. I will never recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever use their services again. I actually wish I could give zero stars. read more

I go in OKC--YES, it is very expensive. Yes--it DOES hurt and I"m not a baby. Yes-there are rules you must follow like staying out of the sun or at least not being tan about 2 weeks before visit. and AGAIN--yeS! It DOES hurt. OKay--that behind us, I LOVE LOVE LOVE results! I've gone 3 times so far and RARELY shave. I don't even have to check armpits anymore. They NEVER have any signs of hair. I did bikini and pits. I intend to follow thru with ALL treatments. I believe in this place. Some woman commented they wear scrubs and aren't nurses--so what? It looks professional to me. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! As much as taking a part time job to pay for it. Soooooooooo worth it. Just got back from Cabo and did not shave ONCE OR have to have those HORRID bikini pimple bumps! Shuddering! NO, I do NOT work there. THe staff at Belle Isle is wonderful.
