My impression of the regional escalations team (Erin), site manager (Stephanie), and the front desk receptionist (Taryn) will forever be tarnished. They make you sign a contract that you will get all your session done within a certain time frame and then they cancel appointments and have you wait MONTHS for another appointment which will cause the laser hair removal to not be as successful. They also cancel with less than 24 hours notice and then are very rude when you try to re-schedule. They also market a "lifetime guarantee" where you are supposed to be able to go back and do touch ups whenever needed for a low price (I was told $200) only to find out that is also a lie and they apparently changed the policy without notifying me and that is no longer available. I had 3 major grievances about this place. 1) First of all, during my consult I indicated I wanted the procedure done by a certain date (upcoming wedding). The doctor with whom I spoke said with certainty that they could get me in by then. I just needed to commit to the treatment, pay upfront, and THEN schedule the appointment. I then learned that the earliest available appointment was a month after I needed it done, and no refunds could be provided. 2) I figured, since I bought them and can't get them refunded, I might as well use them. So I had my first procedure, scheduled a followup for two months later. *They* canceled on *me* and couldn't reschedule for another 2 months after that. I'll get to why that really became problematic in a second. 3) After my third treatment, the nurse at the counter told me to wait 2 weeks and then call to schedule another followup (I bought a package deal of 12 units and had 4 left). I thought it was odd to wait 2 weeks to schedule a follow up rather than do it on the spot like previous times, but didn't really think anything of it in the moment. That appointment was on 7/23. I called to set up a followup on 8/7 but couldn't get through to anyone and gave up trying that day. I finally spoke with someone on 8/11 who said *my sessions had expired on 8/9, and so I would be unable to use them.* No extension on expiration, even if THEY cancel. I've been calling and emailing their customer support over this matter, but no one will return my calls or emails. W.O.W. What a shame. This company is bad news with the worst customer service. Don't waste your time trying to get services from the offices in Austin. I tried to get appointments and they kept cancelling them on me without telling me until I arrived. I was informed that they didn't have a technician to do the laser service. I told the receptionist two months ago that after repeatedly trying to make an appointment, that I no longer was interested in pursuing attempts to make an appointment and to please cancel my loan through Ally Lending. When I called last week to speak with a representative, nobody could answer for what is going on and was told to call back. I requested an email be sent to me to show that the loan was dissolved for proof to Ally. I have called back multiple times. The woman I spoke to said that there were 46 calls so far that day from people with the same issue. So Ally Lending paid Ideal Image and keeps calling me about payment. They have yet to send me anything in writing that shows that the loan has been dissolved for lack of services rendered. I've been given no name or title of who is supposed to be calling me back but it's been weeks. Each time I call I get told the same thing that the person is t available and will call me when they can. It's very frustrating that they have over 2500$ and my name is still on the loan. A loan that is showing up as unpaid. I'm not paying anything since no services have been rendered with no end in sight. There are plenty of other companies locally that offer the same services. They're not even trying. The south Austin location is empty with just the receptionist in there. No technicians or patients. From Nov 5th to March 9th (in 4 months) I've had 2 successful appointments so far. 1 at the north location! Which was amazing! Treatment and explanations, customer service etc. Sadly cant say the same for the South Location. I live down south so cant make it up north as often! This is the biggest SCAM I have ever seen. $2900 down the drain for laser hair removal that didn't work at all and on more than one occasion I was burned by the laser. I was interested in full Brazilian laser hair removal but SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED SEVERAL TIMES on the zoom consultation that I am blonde and was worried my hair might be too light. The woman I spoke with reassured me the laser would take and that should have been my first red flag. How can you guarantee if you haven't even seen the shade of my hair?
