WOW! What a great experience I just had with Miro Electric. I needed to upgrade the main service…read moreto my 1968 house from 100 AMP to 200 AMP. Bill came over within a few days of me requesting a quote and inspected the work to be done. In the process of upgrading the meter base, I also needed to upgrade the generator transfer switch to 200 AMP. Bill promptly emailed a quote back to me and followed up with a phone call to make sure I understood the quote and scope of work. Then Bill took care of the scheduling with CMP (Central Maine Power) to cut power to the house and remove the meter, which the first attempt was rained out and CMP canceled. Bill rescheduled within a couple of weeks and today was the day it happened. Bill was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He even brought his own trash can and put all the old stuff, wire, insulation scrapes, etc., into it as he went so when he was done, the work site was perfectly clean. Amazing. It shows how thoughtful he is. Bill also checked in with me on a regular basis while we waited those couple of weeks for CMP to return. Miro Electric will be doing all of my future electrical work, and the only electrician I will recommend to my friends.

I shut off my breakers…read morefor heat after smelling melted plastic at the thermostat and saw the electrical melted through the wire casing. I didn't want to turn anything back on unless it was safe. I called around various places but many were booked or couldn't guarantee service with a minimum $195 troubleshooting fee. They called me back right away. Despite having everyone scheduled out, hearing I had lost my heat with the safety concerns over melted electrical, they agreed to come out today to help me. Aaron was very courteous, responsive, and professional. He came prepared with a spare thermostat, even though I had already purchased one. His work was professional and he made sure things were installed level. The price for the same day service was very reasonable. $99 service entrance fee + repair time. Would highly recommend this company! They look out for their community and were very kind to fit me in under the circumstances on dhort notice. Very grateful to them today! Definitely have peace of mind and restored heat.

We used this company to help switch over to propane. Which was $14,000 and we were fine with it…read morebecause we needed an new heating system. In the first couple weeks the water kept going cold, then the heat would not work. We called them and they would come out and "fix" the issue. Only for it to happen again. We finally got them to come out to "fix" it a final time to find out that they did not put the exhaust vent outside the house. Apparently when your exhaust vent is inside the house you cannot use an air freshener around it. Which we were not made aware of. One guy came out and said that the whole system was set up wrong and after he messed around with it, it started working. A couple months later we get a bill for $3,000!!! On a heating system they did not install correctly. We said we were not paying it because THEY were the ones that did not do their jobs correctly. They threatened us with a lean on the house if we did not pay the bill. After I had my father talk to them, they brought it down to a little over $1,000 for the bill. On something that they did not install correctly to begin with.
