Yesterday my mother-in-law and I experienced TERRIBLE customer service from an employee. She seemed bothered that she had to check us out. No small talk or smile. I asked her a simple question, and it must have been out of her "script" because I got a long blank stare and then a condescending tone. A couple of other times shopping there the customer service was "lackluster" at best but not outright rude like this one incident. Other than this one bad experience I will come back. The good outweigh the bad.

The owner is very careful about what she brings in and has classes and pop-ups in her store all the time. She creates such a welcoming atmosphere, it is not uncommon to see people in there conversing with her pretty regularly. The bottom line is she is clearly working to build a community around her shop and it really shows in the relationships she builds with the artists she brings in as well as the customers who keep coming back.
