But it closed in 15 minutes! So we hurried over there and it was dark and cold outside which added to the Christmas spirit. Walking up to it I already was giddy. It had a window display that just looked magical from the outside. Walking in, it was small yet cozy. So many different items to look at. I tried to be mindful of the closing time so we looked at everything pretty quickly but I just soaked it all in. I've always wanted a nice snow globe bc they remind me of my son. I found one there I liked with the nativity story in it along with a wind up song. I bought it and they wrapped it up for me since I flew out the next day. Unfortunately the TsA agents didn't let me board the plane with it!!!!!!! So my son went back 2 days later and bought another one!!;) and now we just have to figure out how to get it to me. Probably will have to ship it to me and hopefully it gets to me safely. But boy what a journey just for this snow globe! lol But this store gets the sale of two snow globes so I'm helping small business I guess;) Loved this place and if I'm in the area again during Christmas, I'd love to come again and see what they new things they have. I could tell that if I went with any other type of coffee drink--or even just a black coffee--it would have been great. We stood outside trying to figure out what we should do with the dog but a gentlemen came out and told us they were dog friendly. He was very kind and welcoming. We stepped inside and the ambience was so inviting. It was like a cozy library. They had a gluten free cookie option, muffins and other treats along with of course tea and coffee. I received a $100 Uniformity gift card 1.5 years ago from someone for graduating nursing school. I…read moredid not use it right away because I already had scrubs and didn't need more at the time. Last night I tried to use the gift card since my scrubs started getting holes. I was told that I couldn't use it because the gift card was 'expired'. This was the first time I heard of a gift card expiring. I was then told that the person who bought the $100 gift card would not be getting their money back either. Uniformity is a SCAM! In other words, Uniformity is breaking both state AND federal law. According to Idaho Code § 14-502(2)(b), Expiration and Fees: Effective January 1, 2005, gift cards may not have an expiration date or service fees or they risk escheat to the state. ... Expiration - Effective January 1, 2007, gift certificates with expiration dates must expire no less than five years after the date of purchase. AND the Federal Gift Card Act of 2009 states that gift certificates or store gift cards can't expire for five years.
