There's been a lot of excitement in my backyard lately. On 5/29/23, I discovered what I believed to…read morebe an unnaturally large wasp nest. I also found a strange pile of dirt close to the foundation of my home. I sprayed the wasp nest and planned to remove it a few days later. A couple of months prior, I noticed a hole in the back corner of my yard that appeared to be an animal of some kind, digging from my neighbors side of the yard into mine. My neighbor has a dog, so I thought it must be her dog, though it didn't make sense why he would suddenly begin digging a hole in that spot after having lived there for so many years. I filled the whole up with dirt and rock mulch several times, to no avail. I come out a few days later, and that hole would be there again. In addition, about a month ago, my other neighbor wasn't able to start his vehicle and discovered that some kind of animal had chewed the wiring in his car engine. A couple of days before I discovered the strange dirt pile, I began seeing what appeared to be a very large and strangely shaped squirrel, who seemed very skittish. On 5/30/23, I did some research. I was alarmed to discover that I might have a Yellow Bellied Marmot a.k.a. Rock Chuck! On 5/31/23, I called Todd at Idaho Wildlife Removal, who came out the same day. He told me I had a hornet's nest, and how aggressive they could be. I asked Todd to remove it. He found a few hornet still alive inside. Todd said the animal that was digging the hole was likely a gopher, skunk, or marmot. He set up two traps, and asked me to check them a couple of times daily. He also put up wire along the fence where the critter had been digging, to discourage future digging. On 6/2/23, I came home late that evening, to discover an animal in one of the two traps. Chirping up a storm, he sounded just like a squirrel. At first glance, he looked like one too. Then I took some pictures and compared them to pictures of marmots. His frosty tipped fur told me all I needed to know. I moved the marmot in his trap, beneath the shelter of a large tree. I wrapped the trap with a big, fluffy, pink towel, so he would be warm overnight. I called and messaged Todd, who picked up the marmot promptly the next morning, and relocated him to a river about 30 miles west of my house. Todd left the remaining trap. Marmots don't always travel solo. It's not uncommon to catch anywhere from 1 to 5 at a time. So far, there haven't been any signs of more marmot activity, but we're going to give it some time I intentionally contacted Idaho Wildlife Removal because I didn't know exactly what I was dealing with, and I wanted someone who had the ability to handle the widest variety of animals possible. I also liked the idea of rescuing and relocating, if appropriate. The reason why Todd offers all these services, but almost nobody else does, is because he has a trapping license. He also has 40+ years of experience. Responsible trappers know when, where, and how to catch animals humanely and without harming non-target animals or being disruptive to the non-trapping public. Todd also has relationships with several local wildlife sanctuaries. Todd also does pest control. His pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend Todd at Idaho Wildlife Rescue for animal control/wildlife rescue, and pest control services. He was prompt, friendly, professional, highly skilled, and excellent to work with. Highly Recommended!!!

They do not notify you that they are coming, or if they are there ( I was home and no one said they were applying anything). they included two photos with their summary and you can see 2 cars in the driveway. You have no idea what they are using or what they are treating for. I have a dog and when "Crazy Frog" was doing the quarterly treatments, they let me know when they would be there, knocked on the door when they arrived, explained what they were apply and allowed me time to get the dog inside. I get no return anything from this company when you get a hold of them. I have Terminated Terminix.

This is a review strictly based on the product, it doesn't work...at all, it has actually caused us more bugs than we had before (or ever for that matter). The end of May a very energetic, young salesman came to our door and convinced me (my husband was not on board) that the product worked wonders and would have our house bug free in no time. We have a two year old son who is obsessed with bugs right now and a yard that has tons of spiders, pincher bugs, wasps (and elder beetles but that's another story) so I was sold on the idea very quickly. I should have been much more wary when the salesman told me "he didn't know the terms and conditions and I could just read them in the email after signing up". Huge red flag and really dumb on my part for agreeing to anything. Anyways a few weeks later (June 1st to be exact) Nathan, another nice young man, came out and sprayed our house for the first time, the whole process took about 15 minutes. He told us not to go outside for 30 minutes as he didn't want us breathing in the fumes, another red flag considering the salesman had told us "you could literally drink the product safely". Anyways, Nathan told us to "give it a few weeks" he had told my husband that the pincher bugs, beetles, etc. needed to eat the product and then the spiders would eat those bugs and die. I guess it made sense however, a few weeks went by and all we saw was an increase in bugs. So I called back the week of July 1st and told a young lady what we were dealing with. She told us she would have another person come out and spray our house a second time free of charge. I was hesitant but agreed. On July 8th another kind man came out and sprayed our house. He didn't say much but did tell me that the product doesn't do anything for box elder beetles, which I would have known from the beginning had I read in the terms and conditions. Anyways, after waiting a week and seeing absolutely zero progress with the bugs outside and finding more spiders inside than I have in the few years we've lived here I decided to call and cancel our service. I spoke to a girl named Allison who was extremely helpful, understanding and polite. At the end of our conversation about cancelling I asked her if she wouldn't mind voiding the $90 cancellation fee since the product didn't help at all and actually made things worse, she told me she would send an email to the managers who make those decisions and they would be getting back to me with a decision within 1-2 business days. I never heard from anyone. We were still charged the cancellation fee and my husband won't let me live it down. If you're on the fence about using Terminix I'd say run, far away, it's not worth the money and definitely not worth the headache you're about to put yourself through. You're honestly probably better off DIYing a bug repellent on Pinterest, I heard dawn dish soap and water in a spray bottle works great

Western Exterminator accidently cancelled by service and I called, texted and emailed over a dozen times to re-establish service but to no avail. My mother's restaurant been a very loyal customer to this company. She's Chinese, doesn't speak…read morefluent English, but she came here looking for a better future for myself and my siblings. She even became a small business owner. Today, she called the accounting center to pay her bills (844-839-9593). She dialed the wrong extension number and got to Danielle (x 26831) instead of her normal accounting person. Immediately after Danielle picked up, my mom apologized and tried to explain that she was trying to reach a different extension number. My mom doesn't speak fluent English, but she was polite and soft-spoken. Instead of saying, okay m'am, I will reroute you OR just tell my mom to call back, she half-assed her customer service and curtly said "HOW CAN I HELP YOU???" She didn't bother listening to what my mom was saying. My mom then told her, well you guys spelled my last name wrong, and again, Danielle VERY rudely said "WELL M'AM, HOW CAN I HELPP YOUUU?!?!?!" (I don't feel like I can properly translate the attitude this lady felt she needed to convey to my mother, who worked three jobs to raise her children, and sacrificed her whole life to be here, JUST to be disrespected and discriminated against?) My mom then moved on from the last name issue and began to try to pay the bills. Danielle asked my mom what she'd like to pay, and my mom asked how much the bill was - and Danielle then again, rudely saId "WELL YOUR BILL IS $$$ IF YOU WANT TO PAY $$ THEN THAT'S YOUR ENTIRE BILL?!!?!??!" I was pretty appalled by this time, but I decided that perhaps Danielle was just having a bad day and Danielle wasn't trying to be rude. Then my mom said okay I'd like to pay the entire bill. Danielle said Okay what is your name on the credit card? My mom took out her credit card and tried to read Danielle the number of the credit card and Danielle RUDELY cut her off and went on a diatribe about how my mom was impatient, and told my mom to "LISTEN TO MY QUESTION!?!" (even though this lady ignored what my mom had to say from the beginning). Then my mom asked her okay what is your question and her response was "OH MY LORD." By this time I was pretty ticked off. I don't think I'm being sensitive when I have seen this kind of treatment often and when I constantly hear about our Asian American elders being SLAUGHTERED and ASSAULTED daily just for being Asian, and nobody ever stood up for them. While Danielle did not physically assault my mom, her discrimination was evident in her attitude and her words. She only treated my mom the way she did because of my mom's accent and imperfect English, and she only treated my mom the way she did because she knew that my mom, an Asian American immigrant with imperfect English, would not file a complaint. I took over the phone and asked Danielle for her name and last name and badge number. She gave me her first name, and said she didn't have a badge number and couldn't give me her last name. She told me to call customer service if I had a complaint but it is unrealistic to call customer service to report that a person with a common name was rude. (By the way, Danielle was noticeably more polite as soon as I picked up and spoke to her in fluent English). Then I asked well who do I call to lodge a complaint, and instead of giving me the number, she constantly cut me off to justify her behavior and then hung up on me. I called back to the correct extension line and the accountant was polite and agreed to bring this incident to his supervisor's attention. While I appreciate Western Exterminator's effort to rectify this issue, I can't help but wonder: how many Asian immigrant business owners have suffered the treatment by Danielle? It is especially concerning when I know that Asian Americans normally let things slide. My mom was going to just finish the transaction with Danielle without filing a complaint had I not been around. I'm not writing this review with the hope that Danielle would be disciplined or fired, I am writing this review to raise awareness and hope that Danielle would become a better person (although I know it is only wishful thinking).
