This company does work without your consent, and will charge you!…read more I am disappointed to leave this pool company after 2 years because they went ahead, and did work outside of my agreed upon contract of a pool opening. At no point in time did they contact me to do "additional work". Therefore, be very careful. They replaced a piece that did not need to be replaced on top of my filter, tossed to the side. Not once letting us know. Not once hearing from us to agree on them touching anything outside of an opening. What's more disturbing is now the piece that was replaced I am not sure can go back. Thus, forcing me to now shut off my pool filter and now not using my pool until this company resolves this blatant issue of unauthorized work and possible damage to what they replaced as irreplaceable now. Make sure you find a pool company that values their customers consent on all work done on your property. Especially because I was not even home for this lack of consumer respect. I would ALSO like to point out that the items replaced were there last year and the year before that. and NO ONE DID OUTSIDE REPAIRS UNTIL NOW. The reviews and rating didn't seem too bad so we weren't expecting this many issues. As soon as we opened the door the smell hit us. Cigarettes, body odor, a dank moldy smell, and food. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom was filthy with urine and pubic hairs all over the floor. MY SHOES STUCK TO THE BATHROOM FLOOR. THE BED WAS MADE DIRTY. There were disgusting stains on the bedskirt and hairs on the pillows. Broken furniture, dusty lamps with wiring and cords poorly stretched and exposed. Filthy fridge and microwave. A sticky film on the television. Did not even touch the remote. Went downstairs to see if there was a different room available and had to wait while two separate guests chewed out the poor front desk guy for the same reasons we were needing a different room! I've worked in hotels for years. I know that you have to keep up with housekeeping hiring and FIRINGS! Hotels are not "at the mercy of their housekeeping staff" if they pay fair wages and hire good people. This room and the overall condition of the hotel is a direct result of HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Message to management: Get out of the hotel business because this is BEYOND FAILURE. When your front desk agent gives you a nearly empty can of room deodorizer there is a MAJOR PROBLEM. We took our chances and resigned to sleeping in our vehicle and informed the agent we could not stay in that room. Fortunately he helped us with a refund (which has yet to show up). If we do not see the refund in our account soon we will be pursuing further action because this room was hazardous to health and safety. We couldn't even stay five mins in that room and were lucky to get one elsewhere. The front desk agent was embarrassed and really maintained a professional demeanor while dealing with multiple complaints. This hotel would be lucky to keep him but something tells me he will find a better employer and better working conditions. Additional information: No elevator (not handicap friendly). New pool, old everything else. Parking lot damage (potholes). Key fobs on exterior entrances don't always work.

The cost of us staying was over $200 and our room key and toilet was unusable. Our toliet was clogged from when we entered the room, had to get someone fix that but while waiting on an short line I found out that this issue effected other guests and had also not been fixed the first time around. We weren't able to use our own toilet at this point we decided , it may be best to leave at midnight. Too tired we decided to stay and checkout as early as possible. I was in this bed trying to find other open hotels because of how bad this was. The phone in our room was broken, some of the lighting fixtures were broken as well. Avoid avoid AVOID! There's much nicer hotels for the same price in the same 2 mile radius.

HealthPlex is not that gym, and to me, this is a good thing. There aren't meat heads throwing weights on the floor and flexing their muscles for an hour in the mirrors. There are all kinds of people working out here with different goals and lifestyles. Everyone minds their own business while working out. There is a lot of personal training going on as well. All of the staff is super friendly. I met Zach when I was interested in seeing the gym and signing up. He was awesome, answered all my questions with a friendly smile and also showed me that they do have my favorite LifeFitness elliptical machines, which sealed the deal for me. No one has them anymore and they are the only ones that don't murder my bad knees. There is no BS with this gym. Flat charge of $20 per month. No start up fees. No contracts. It's awesome. If you want all the technology, are okay with contracts and higher costs, by all means, go ahead and go to a fancier gym. Personally, I do not need a fruit scented dose of oxygen while at the gym or other extras like this. I prefer to keep it simple and I love HealthPlex. Yes, they do still have free WiFi so you can listen to music without burning your cellular data!

For 10 years I suffered from what began with sciatica pain, to what eventually became crooked hips…read moreand a twisted spine developing. I had an MRI done and they said some of the cushioning in my vertebrae of my spine were degenerative. A Mackenzie spine specialist was recommended- which helped with the pain, but it was not helping it permanently. I did everything from chiropractor, acupuncture , PT, massage, which all helped with pain management but nothing solved the problem, my hips were still uneven, the left hiked up much higher than the right, I still had pain, still had an s starting to form in my spine. They thought one leg was shorter than the other. After doing PT, and all the other modalities in use, I got to a point where I felt good enough to workout again, but I kept hurting myself because I was still moving wrong and using the wrong muscles. It was my last hope And although it was a big investment, it was my last hope. I literally tried everything. I called Healthplex and described my needs and was recommended to train with Teresa Burke. I do not say this lightly when I tell you, I have my life back because of her. She was an answer to my prayers. Teresa has a gift to facilitate this healing of the body. She watches how you move, head to toe, and understands how to help you through it. What muscle groups you need strengthened and what you need to move through. It wasn't always easy. I would show up and it was hard to move / painful to workout because everything was crooked. She truly helped me. I'm no longer crooked. I have no more pain. All my muscles are strong in the right places now and holding me together and upright. I can workout and move like I haven't been able to in years. I recommend her to anyone. She is the real deal!
