On Tuesday, Kevin called my hubby to say what would be needed and quoted us a price. This is a 2001 Subaru Legacy which we leave in Calgary to drive when we are visiting, it has been an exceptionally reliable car which hasn't really cost us anything in repairs. Although it may not make sense to spend that kind of money on a car this old it has keep it's value. Kevin had given us a couple of options so as not to spend so much right now but we had decided to go ahead & replace all the rack & pinion, instead of waiting for the other part to go on us. Kevin called to say the car was ready on Wednesday (I was leaving back to the island on Friday). Kevin was so conscientious showing us the broken old rack & pinion and his brother caught that there was a nail on my back tire - which they patched for us, did a wheel alignment & balanced the 4 wheels. I had gathered a few details about the business and my options, followed up with an email requesting a quote and schedule, and the lady I spoke with informed me it would take a few hours at most. I followed up the next day as this request was considered to be urgent (wanted to get an idea of how long the printing would take them, I was ready to pay extra if needed). I was put on hold for about 15 minutes and called back to be put on hold again (with the same lady I had emailed my requests to initially).
