I felt very prepared to take the exam once the boot camp was completed in September. Due to some unforeseen challenges (good ol 2020 the year that keeps giving) I delayed taking the exam until December. After I scheduled my exam I spent 2 weeks reviewing my notes from class and the additional course materials (full boot camp videos) on the PMTI website. I passed the exam on my 1st try and scored very well in all areas. I will say it again.....the course materials and instruction are top notch!!! When I meet my career services counselor it was via webex and she was in her home wearing pajamas. She has done nothing of substance and I would never allow her to represent me to possible employers. I highly suggest that you stay away from MYCC and get your IT education for vendor specific certs. CompTIA certs are vendor neutral and you are not going to get a job making the salary stated by the MYCC admissions department. Elon Musk said you can learn pretty much everything on the internet for free and that is especially true with IT. Buy books, purchase practice exams, watch you tube and take your certs.
