Core 5 has become a barrier preventing hardworking students from graduating. The grading setup…read moremakes success nearly impossible one missed question can mean repeating the entire core. What's worse, dosage is only taught for a single day, yet students must score a perfect 100% on the dosage exam to advance. After that, we're left to study alone. While accuracy is vital in nursing, this policy is unrealistic and sets students up for failure. I've reached out multiple times about my efforts, only to hear the same response, while more money is pulled from my family for a class I already know. Students have failed Core 5 by fractions of a point, like 76.7% when 77% is required, with no retest or supplemental work allowed. Even a 95% on dosage is treated as failure if it isn't perfect students invest their time, energy, and passion only to be held back by technicalities. I've seen dedicated classmates in tears over narrowly missing the mark. The school must revise its Core 5 policies to reflect fairness, compassion, and educational best practices. Without change, this program will continue to lose talented future nurses to a rigid, financially damaging system.

My oldest son who is 10 years old has been here for a year now . He loves the environment and says it's just a good fit for me! Martha and her dedicated group of tutors are encouraging and create an environment where my child is thriving! He loves to go and now we have enrolled his 5 year old brother into the kindergarten program. This has been a tremendous help since we are still doing virtual learning. I know when the pandemic is over my boys will academically be where they need to be! We also did zoom learning for 3 months and recently transitioned back to the facility. They are masked, taking temperatures and taking all precautions for a safe learning environment. This led to our decision to return to in class tutoring. To say we are happy is an understatement. Math is now my sons best subject! I would of course recommend THE TUTORING CENTER .. it's the best by far and we have tried a few places here in Flower mound. Bravo!

Just follow these instructions so you're not frantically seeking out a janitor for directions after unsuccessfully scouring the building map and adding to your anxiety about your test. Not only is the building nice, the people working there were very gentile as well. From the young lady in the front to the gentleman in the second room who kept ma'am-ing me, it was an unexpectedly pleasant and calming experience. Here's what you should expect: Bring your ID and keep it with you at all times, along with the locker key you'll get if you use their lockers. That is where phones, watches, sunglasses, wallets--ANYTHING other than the clothes you'll keep on and the ID (and locker key)--will go. Outerwear (jacket, cardigan, sweater, etc) must be stored in the locker or worn for the duration of the test. The testing room was a very comfortable temperature; light pants and long-sleeve shirt that can be pulled up should be fine. Headphones, pencils, scratch paper, and even tissues will be provided if you need them. You will be searched and recorded, so don't even think about smuggling in a snack. Breaks will depend on the test you're taking. Not sure what the car parking situation is, but there's a bike rack right outside the northeast entrance of the building. The rest is up to you. All the best on your test.

Someone to talk to during some rocky teenage years. 2. Mandatory accountability of items I saved up to acquire. 3. An understanding of the importance the music I had learned in regard to our world's culture. 4. A network connection in the Dallas/Texas/Southwest music scene. 5. But most importantly, a lifelong and loyal friend. I began taking lessons with Rob Tovar at the age of 15. I since went on to the Percussion program at Musicians' Institute in Hollywood, CA. I now teach percussion on the side out in Arizona as well as run some music clubs for the school at which I teach. I would not be able to contribute to my community to the level that I am able to without the guidance, instruction, and influence I received while learning percussion under Rob Tovar.
