My rating remains the same, but I wanted to add another reason why it gets1 star from me. I strongly believe 2 of the questions in Chapter 6 are being scored wrong. I feel confident with my answers but it keeps marking it wrong. I think a great solution to this problem is to provide the correct answer after the quizzes instead of only showing your score and indicating it being incorrect. For heavens sake give me the right answers then after I pass the quiz!! read more

I paid for the $169 Texas All Lines Course and thank goodness I'm not out any more money than that. The course is poorly designed, only slides and endless walls of text with no way to print them out. If you are a note taker like myself it would take you a lot of extra hours to make enough notes to be able to pass the exam. I emailed them asking if there was a way I could get a document version of the course to print out as I planned to keep them for reference when I actually started the job-- they emailed back saying there was nothing they could do. I had not even taken the first chapter test yet, or even gotten through the first 50 slides. I decided to go with another school (I highly recommend AdjusterPro!) and asked of a refund. According to their policy (which they don't make known, for a reason I'm sure) you cannot have a refund after you've started the course. How would you know the course works for you unless you start it? You can't. This policy allows them to make money off of you no matter what, even if you contest with your bank or credit card. A little extra detail is they tried to tell me I had been on the course 20 HOURS-- maybe that's what their metrics say but there's absolutely no way I was on there 20 hours. I was in the material MAYBE an hour before I realized this course design wasn't for me. Maybe their in-class presence is better than their online. I would hope so. But if you're planning on their online class, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Absolute waste of money. Xactimate course is 10 hours of just videos, you can learn more for free on YouTube. Didn't learn anything new and now I'm out $250. Other courses may be better but this one is a scam. Find a better way to learn Xactimate and save your money read more

My 81 year old father paid over $550 for the "combo package" online courses for me as I expressed interest in pursuing a different career path. I was living in another state and life got in the way and it got put on the back burner. I think I logged in two or three times. And btw there isn't even a link to student log in on the main page, just links to sign up and pay them $, you have to Google it to even get to the log in page. Regardless, I didn't even finish the first lesson. Fast forward a year later and I'm out of a job and went back to log on to revisit the course. The logon said "outside of access dates" when I entered my credentials. I called them and was told that is says on the website you only have 6 months to finish the course. This is not mentioned to you when you sign up, or on any of the pages prior to signing up, just advertising. I don't believe they ever sent any reminders or anything to mine or my father's email saying anything of the sort. On the website you have to go into the FAQ section to see where they state the time limit to complete the courses, which seems ridiculous because it's a poorly run website and the interface is awkward and poorly designed. It's literally just text and little reviews and quizzes. I am waiting on a call back from management after the secretary said there's nothing she can do. It's absurd to not let me finish the course. If they allow me access I'll take this review down. If not I can only help if drives away thousands of dollars in business after they sneakily took my father's $ and wouldn't work with me on this. I'm sure there are more scrupulous and better run websites out there. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of these shady people at The Adjuster School. read more

I took the $169 online course & just passed the exam on my 2nd try. If I could make one suggestion I'd suggest a freelance course writer to rewrite the course. I did difficulty comprehending some of the course material without reading the same sentences over & over again because it's not well written. The info is there, I wasnt unprepared for the questions, the information just would've been a lot easier to learn & retain if it were edited down by a professional writer. I'm otherwise pleased with the course & I did pass with a 84% so I will be recommending the adjuster school. read more

I purchased the online course for the All Lines Adjusters license. The material was pretty straight forward. There are 13 chapters to read and a quiz at the end of each chapter. You have to pass each chapter quiz with a 70 before you can move forward to the next chapter. The company also sends information via email regarding the final exam instructions the day you sign up, which was good, as the exam is a proctor exam. There are several locations throughout DFW that offer proctor testing, so this was not an issue. The only issue that I had with The Adjuster School, is there is no study guide or test prep guide for students taking the course online. The exam is 150 questions and you have to pass with a 70. There is a lot of information that you are retaining so for there to be no study guide to help prepare for the test seems pretty ridiculous. The student site does not allow printing of the course information, but there is a notebook/notepad feature for taking notes etc., that can be printed. I tried taking notes of the quiz questions, thinking that maybe if I studied these questions it would help me prepare for the test. After taking several pages of the quiz notes/questions, someone/something deleted the study guide that "I" made for myself. I contacted the school regarding my notes being deleted but did not receive a response. Needless to say I eventually signed up with another school that offers Skype classes, a study guide, and test prep. I passed the exam with no problem going through another school. I just completed the in person class and I must say that got a lot out of the class. I know it is big commitment to take a 6 day class but the amount of info we cover and the details/insights that you gain are unmeasurable in my opinion. The instructor is straight forward and knowledgeable and doesn't allow the class to get off course. Come prepared to learn! read more
