Thank you Terry M. for your comments and I 100% agree. My review that I just posted elsewhere:
Well, I see lots of 5 star reviews and they may be accurate in terms of the actual course content, but in terms of customer service...not even 1 star is deserved.
The situation - signed up and paid for a class on January 9, 2025 in the Plano location, 6PM - 9PM. In the meantime, a winter storm hit the North Texas area and the roads are treacherous. The police are saying "stay off the roads". I live 10 miles away from class location. So I called to cancel and try to reschedule but the available Plano times are impossible for me to attend in the future weeks due to work schedules. I was offered classes in other locations which would be 25-45 miles away from me. I asked for a refund and was told it was "non-refundable". The girl then told me that it said it was "non-refundable" before I hit the "submit" button. I didn't see that so unless I spend an hour or more driving to another location I'm out $59.95. So just to check, I went back in to the site, "scheduled" another class and sure 'nuff, when I hit the "process" button (not submit) I saw nothing about it being "non-refundable". No problem with that - immediately called credit card company and will dispute.
I mean come on!!!!! I'm not cancelling on a whim. I'm cancelling because of an Act of God situation. So fine, I might be out $59.95 but believe me, I will do all I can to spread the word about this company. Seems like some simple common sense and ethics could come into play. What if I had suffered a heart attack and couldn't possibly attend a class? Would they have refunded my money then? Low rent organization, IMO. read more
