They don't really teach anything, we just watched videos. They tell you the price of the class and you pay the nonrefundable fee before they send an email about additional costs for books. This type of deceitful practice is misleading marketing. It would have actually cost me less to pay more for the class without having to pay for a $50 book plus parking costs. Another thing is I passed the ACLS class and I still have not received my card. It only takes a few minutes to input student's information into the computer to get their email with the card link attached. I took my BLS and PALS in other locations and had my card before I ever left the building. I was told by the instructor that we would all have our cards by the end of business that day, well it's been 2 days and I still have nothing. Her excuse, "E-cards are issued by end of the business day. The cards are sent directly from AHA." That's not an answer and if I tell you I haven't received it, you should be looking into that. Either you put in the wrong email address, or you did not hit submit. Either way, take ownership of your mistake.
Update: finally received my card only after sending my 3rd email. She still claims it was the AHA's fault. read more
