One of our go to's when we have friends/family visiting the area! The chicken sandos and popcorn…read morechicken are cooked to perfection -- the best crisp with a juicy interior. The fries are nicely seasoned and pair well with the entrees. Well priced for the size and quality of food. We love going here to indulge in Asian inspired fried chicken dishes! The staff are friendly and space is clean. Only couple reasons why they're 4 stars instead of 5 - 1) the food takes a while since it's made fresh to order. when e we went the other day, we were only one of free tables for an early lunch & had to wait 25+ mins for our popcorn chicken bowls; 2) there's only 1 small restroom. Otherwise highly recommend, and for the reasons stated above maybe consider ordering ahead for takeout!

What a lovely spot…read more Very brightly lit, you can also see into the kitchen at night from outside, which is cool. I believe they have a parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking. Not wheel chair accessible, but there is outdoor seating. Seating is size accessible. However, it's a bit tight to maneuver through. Hostess/bartender/server was really lovely as well! LOVED THE MOCKTAIL menu & taste. I got the basil mule. The katsu was delicious and fried well. I also liked the seasoning on the fries. The other chicken was missing something taste wise, but still good. Will definitely be back to try something else!

Mokban Korean Bistro was such a pleasant surprise! We ordered the beef bibimbap, the kalbi ssam,…read moreand the soy ginger wings to start, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The soy ginger wings were the perfect appetizer--crispy, flavorful, and coated in a sweet and savory glaze that had us reaching for one after another. The beef bibimbap was fresh and well-balanced with plenty of vegetables, tender beef, and a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg. Mixing everything together with the sauce made every bite so satisfying. My fiancé loved the kalbi ssam--the short ribs were tender and flavorful, and wrapping everything in the fresh lettuce with the sides made for an awesome meal. What really stood out was how comforting everything felt. As fellow Asians (though not Korean), the food gave us that warm, homey feeling that good Asian comfort food should. The banchan and soup were a great touch, and the portions were generous. This is easily some of the best Korean food we've had so far, and we'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

The food came out pretty fast and the service was really good. I wanted sliced jalapeños but they didn't have any so they recommended a spicy sauce, went great with the pork belly. If I go back to Rhode Island, this will have to be in my rotation of places to eat.

We got the bibimbap with bulgogi, fried rice with kimchi and bulgogi, Korean rice cakes…read more(tteokbokki), strawberry soju, and baekse-ju (ginseng herbal drink). Portion sizes are good for the bibimbap and fried rice. Both flavorful and not salty like most restaurant foods typically are. It makes me think of really good homemade food where you don't add too much salt or oil cooking for yourself. For appetizers, the rice cake was a little pricey for what is it, but I had to try it due to K-dramas and manwhas. ...the power of fiction influencing real life choices. I really like the rice cakes! My only other past experience was with Trader Joe's frozen tteokbokki (awful, disgusting), so I'm very happy that Korean rice cake at a Korean restaurant is actually very good. Soju is a really smooth and kind of strong alcohol and the soju they served meets expectations. I really liked the baekse-ju, though--I taste the ginseng strongly, but it's not too much. I would order the baekse-ju again (I really liked it). Pickled sides (kimchi, cucumber, and bean sprouts(?)) were complimentary and I really enjoyed them and enjoy that the several Korean restaurants I've been to offer them. The ambiance is casual and I like the vibe of the place--mix of renovated house and restaurant.

Sun & Moon is not bad if you know what to get. I've only been here twice and I've gotten some items…read morethat are good and some that are not as good. First of all, Sun & Moon feels like a home-y Korean restaurant. The owners are Korean and I'd come here when I crave Korean food. I will caveat that it's not necessarily the best Korean food I've ever had, but it's probably the most authentic you'd be able to get in Providence. The vegetable pancake was surprisingly really good - crispy around the edges, right amount of veggie to it. This one I would recommend - it's legit. I've also had the knife cut noodles which is pretty good, but different than the kind I normally get at other Korean restaurants -this one is more seafood forward which is usually not the case at other Korean restaurants. The spicy rice cakes were a bit mid - I would skip out on them next time. The rice cakes didn't have a good chewy texture and they were quite pricy too. The tonkatsu was actually pretty good, so when I got the tonkatsu udon, I was expecting that too be good as well, but the udon was way too salty and had too much MSG flavor, so I couldn't finish it. Overall, cute little place to come when craving Korean food. Menu is huge and not everything is a hit on the menu, but if you know what to order, you'll hit your craving. Parking is street only!
