This company single handedly shut down a surprise 70 year old birthday celebration early. I don't…read morepersonally know the owner, but we did attend the same high school. This is one of the reasons we decided to give him a try. Gateway linens was hired to provide linen, balloon towers, plate warmers, and 360 booth from 6pm-12am. He showed up at the agreed time of 4 pm and got everything set up, except the balloons. He said they were on the way. The person he had doing the balloon towers showed up over an hour late. She literally showed up 15 minutes before the man of the hour. Gateway guy had 3 other people with him (his workers) and they all sat around for 2 hours while we got the decorations together. Apparently he will rent you the linen, but not help put the ribbons on chairs or anything. The worst part is towards the end of the night, a child had bumped his 360 booth around 10 pm (he did not have his rope down that could prevent this). It was not broken, nothing was wrong with it. I suppose he was annoyed. He took that oppurtunity to start packing his things up. Remember we used his linen. Once people saw his staff going around taken linen off the tables and packing his equipment as they are still sitting, they started to leave thinking the party was over. He even went over to the DJ and made him lift his equipment as he took his linen from that table as well. The DJ didn't know what was going on and started shutting down too. It was so unprofessional. He didn't say anything to us that he was going to pack up. He didn't offer any money back for leaving nearly 1 1/2 hours early. Him and his "workers" were all welcomed to eat some food, and one of them had 3 plates throughout the night, and got a to-go container to take food with him. Why is he showing up to a 70-year old party with 3 workers that don't work, but eat as much as they want as if they were invited by us? If you were upset about the 360, how about put that up and then sit back down like you been doing all night and let us finish enjoying our evening. Don't just end the party like you paid for it! I'm giving 2 stars because I did enjoy using the photo booth, everything else was thumbs done. We paid for "100 plate warmers" and they did absolutely nothing. Then on his way out. This unprofessional business man had the nerve to ask us if he could have the rest of our plates, & saucers that we didn't open. Of, course so he can take and rent them out to others in the future. I'm not sure if we got this treatment because we are from the same area, or if he is just a horrible business man. Needless to say, we will not be using these services ever again. The only thing he deserves free from us, is this review! DO BETTER MR. PATTERSON!!

I wasn't actually sure of what to expect and they came in and set their entire process in a timely manner and explained how the process worked. Simply stated they made the atmosphere more festive and caused our guests to be more interactive and engaging with each other! The cool thing is whenever the wedding party/family were taking pictures it gave our guests something to do instead of just sitting around doing nothing.
