They go in the morning, see what trucks are available and where and then assign you. My "reservation" was at the Veterans location 5 miles from my house. An hour before my pickup time I was sent a text that I had to go to their Michoud location. 27 miles from my house. A 35 minute drive each way. So there goes an hour of my day, The scheduling person actually had the nerve to tell me it wasn't an hour drive to Michoud. It isn't but since I can't teleport with the truck back across the city to my house, it was over an hour. 2) The drop off was just as bad. The assigned contract location in Baton Rouge was closed. No lockbox. After a 20 minute wait for someone to answer the Uhaul service number, the rep told me the location was open from 11-7, AS I WAS STANDING THERE IN FRONT OF A PADLOCKED DOOR at 2:30 AND NO LIGHTS ON INSIDE. So there customer service help line does not know what the hours are of the drop off locations. AND I was told dropping off at a location not in the contract would cost me extra. 3) Another 20 minutes on hold and we were given an alternate drop off. It took us 2.5 hours to load up and get to Baton Rouge. It also took 2.5 hours to give them their truck back. 4) The automated check out didn't work. The starting mileage in the system for our truck was 4,000 miles higher than the actual starting mileage so we couldn't put in our ending mileage because it was less than their inaccurate starting mileage.

So after wasting 4 hours, I finally DEMANDED a truck and was given a 26 foot one ( which is not what i wanted). Nevertheless..I get the u-haul truck. I went to the above noted location to pick up the auto transport, and the woman behind the front desk (DAWN LEGER) REFUSED to assist us with getting the car on the trailer. She says " OH I ain't certified, you figure it out!!!" and that horrible woman walked away leaving us stranded with no help???? How are we supposed to know how to hook up the trailer and get the car on there without killing everyone on the road? Is this the type of people you employ? hateful, mean arrogant, rude women? The house plant section was half the size of what we see in Texas, which is odd, seeing how Louisiana is more a tropical state than where we are, so theses houseplants would thrive even outdoors here, which we see in peoples yards everywhere. Where the locals get their plants we will have to find out, as it's not from this Lowes. This one is considerably smaller than the ones we normally see. I'm guessing it's because of the location and how it seems land is very limited. Tho this location looks like it's been here for a very long while. Second time, one employee is there but he can't rekey this type of lock but the absent employee can. Third time, the second employee is there but in a meeting. She will be available in one hour. One hour later, I'm back for the fourth time. The second employee has been sighted numerous times by other employees and called repeatedly. After 20 minutes I'm told she is still "on call" but is trying to locate a third employee who may be able to do it. Ten minutes later I'm told "everyone is swamped" and no one would be able to help. I am giving two stars because every employee who walked by offered to help and called the second employee. In addition, Lowe's has no email to contact management and calling to speak with anyone is a one way ticket to automated voice hell if you are fortunate enough to not be disconnected.

Inside there are your typical convenience store items. The clerks are friendly enough. You are back out and on your way to where ever your final destination is. The only bad thing I can think of is that the pump I end up with, no matter which pump it is, it does not have the latch to keep the fuel pumping into your tank. You have to stand there and hold it open. It is more of an annoyance than anything else.

Paid $500+ dollars to have my hitch professionally installed. Could have had a family member do it…read more Was told the wiring would be next to the hitch. All my other vehicles already had hitches. This is my first vehicle I had to have it installed. But the work was extremely sloppy. They had the wires all over the place in the trunk and it is not threaded through to be next to the hitch like I was told they would do when I called them about it before booking the reservation. It's just thrown in the trunk. How am I suppose to tow with the wiring not being on the outside of my car? The hatch will crush my wires if I do that.
