Funny enough my first time trying Ice Cream Monster was in the middle of winter with snow on the ground. I brought my niece and boyfriend because I'd been wanting to try it and couldn't wait until the summer. The parlor was a lot smaller than it looked on advertisements. It had a colorfully contained chaotic feel, perfect for a "laboratory" atmosphere. I can imagine it would feel crowded in the busier months. The attendant was very lackluster and didn't quite deliver the "mad scientist experience" advertised nor was she knowledgeable about the flavors or toppings BUT we made our own fun. With plenty of wild combinations to choose from my niece put together her own ice cream creation which she enjoyed to pieces. There weren't many sugar free options but you don't go to a place like this for sugar free options haha. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try some unique flavors. read more

This was a spot part of a large strip mall with some outdoor chairs available to sit at. There might have been a table or two inside, but not many. The service was friendly, and samples could be tasted. There were a ton of flavors to choose from along with various sundaes, floats, and shakes available. I do not believe the ice cream was homemade. I had a cup ($6+) of white chocolate raspberry and salted caramel pretzel. The scoops were very generous. The white chocolate raspberry consisted of white chocolate ice cream with a raspberry swirl and chocolate raspberry cups. This was my preferred of the two. There were plenty of raspberry cups and it paired nicely with the white chocolate ice cream. The salted caramel pretzel had vanilla ice cream with a caramel swirl and chocolate covered pretzels. This was tasty but could have incorporated more of a caramel flavor. The pretzels somehow remained crispy and were a nice added crisp to this ice cream. I also tried peanut butter Oreo and a brownie flavor I do not recall. The Oreo was very peanut buttery. I could have used a little more cookie flavor while the brownie flavor was too much of a dark chocolate flavor, but still not bad. Will I go back? Sure. read more

Amazing shop! Can't say enough about it. Had the pleasure of attending the Halloween trunk or treat car show and it was a great day! So many beautiful cars and nice people came out for the event. But the true win here for me is the line of "WuTang" Killah Koffee. Love that I don't have to travel to Staten Island to get a fix! This recently opened ice cream shop has a great variety of flavors. It was super busy for a Saturday night. They allow you to sample their flavors as well, which is helpful when there are so many delicious flavors to choose from. I got the golden graham and loved it! I sampled the cereal and milk but opted for golden graham just because it's been my recent favorite this year. The staff were the nicest people ever and they didnt get annoyed by me asking to try every vegan flavor :) VEGAN options review: Tasted every flavor of vegan options they have and most were coconut based which i didnt really like, i just tasted coconut in them and no other flavor. However, the chocolate fudge was really good and i couldnt taste the coconut in that and it was extremely creamy and honestly didn't melt for a really long time which was interesting. Also the fact that ANY FLAVOR can be made into a soft serve!!!! Yes please!!! so fun and addicting. Also they have SO many flavored cones and they are all different colors which makes such a fun and unique look! Super fun and crazy place. I had no idea this place existed but apparently it's Instagram famous. I highly recommend if you're trying to find some amazing ice cream flavor combinations. It's also a great place to bring if you have any kids. They make a different monster sundaes and milkshakes. I got their pumpkin Oreo and their coffee and cream ice cream and they were both outstanding. Sometimes pumpkin flavored things can be overwhelming, but this has the perfect amount of pumpkin mixed with the Oreo. I'm always a sucker for coffee ice cream and this is the best I've had in a while. It tasted like an iced espresso with Oreos. Perfect amount of bitter to sweetness ratio. All the girls that were working there were so sweet. They explaining what some of their specialty items are, and how they got famous on Instagram. Amazing service, the man helping us was so sweet and offered us many samples along with options. The second we walked in we were taken a back by the detailing of the atmosphere. It is a very fun place and the icecream was delicious. Such a variety of flavors, toppings, cakes, candy, and drinks.
