My air went out. I called Ice Cold Auto Air and brought it in the next day. I feel the exchange was about as honest as one could get. They know there is a leak, but having tried the three detection machines they have they still weren't able to locate it. I was told it's likely I'd have the same problem in a few months. See..honest. They could have ripped me off. Trust me, living in Florida with no air conditioning in the home and/or car is a nightmare! Mark is the owner/operator and he is one of the most knowledgeable persons I've ever met in the Auto A/C field. When I described to him how the A/C fan was blowing intermittently on my son's Nissan Kicks, he was able to diagnose it without even seeing the car. He was right when he checked it out. I knew he was right because my son had taken it to ANOTHER shop claiming to do that kind of work, BUT they wanted to charge him double the price of what Mark ended up charging him (labor included). Mark is trustworthy. He is fair. Mark is a pro. My son dropped the car off at 8 a.m. and was able to pick it up 'end of day'. Mark is diligent in getting parts needed and he underpromises but overachieves. THAT is an A+ service, in my book. Service with a confident smile, excellent pricing and the job gets done right. Called to asked how much it'd be to inspect my AC. Told me the amount and that wait time would be 30 minutes. Brought it in and they inspected it within 15. Tyler was the one who worked on it and "messed around" that it actually got better. Although he knew the problem he still gave me an accurate depiction of what more I'd need done to completely satisfy my AC. Although I didn't take it the inspection was NOT CHARGED. 10/10 recommend!! read more

The A/C on my Jetta wasn't working a few weeks ago. The service was fast, super friendly and affordable. I also got a synthetic oil change with Mobile1 oil for only $50! They have a printable coupon on their website (http://www.icecoldautoair.com) for 10% off labor. They said that for all future service I could just bring my original receipt to receive 10% off labor. They said that they do repairs/service on everything except transmissions and speedometers and mentioned that they can sometimes get tires for less than Sam's Club, so I will definitely try them again when I'm ready for new tires which will probably be soon. read more

Ive been taking my cars to dave for two years or so now. I was recommended by a friend who has been taking his car there for 3 times as long. Hes straight forward with estimates and does quality work. Always fixes any small leaks that may develop from natural wear. Hes been the first guy i take any exhaust work to and recommend him to everyone. Prices are VERY fair and he'll do just about any crazy/wild request you have for exhaust work. I Do not understand how people claim to run a business and are so unorganized & grouchy at their jobs like they don't want to be there DONT BE THERE IF YOU DONT WANT TOO , They have no form of customer service nor helpful no organization nothing just running around the shop with their heads cut off it seems , after speaking to a older guy his attitude made me not want to get any work done by the shop as he just complained about being "busy" declining and making excuses to every customer they can. I am shaking my head at this company or whatever they are . I was told to come at 8am to get work done on my car to hear they are packed for the day and cannot do anything , they told me to come at a time but apparently do not do appointment they can't even finish a simple exhaust mig weld in a timely fashion I drove over 45 mins to this location to drive back such a waste of gas and time then proceeded to tell me one exhaust was going to take ALL DAY WHEN IT SURELY DOES NOT. She doesn't know how to run the card terminal and charged my card which was approved then voided it for who knows why and then attempted to charge my card 3x. As a business if you have someone running your machines make sure they know what their doing. Very unprofessional and makes you ? Who else they have working their that doesn't know what their doing. I first came here yearsss ago when I bought a used car with no AC. I came here to get it repaired, mainly because of location. It's next door to my job & I can just walk over. Turns out, it was just an unplugged cable & my air worked perfect. They didn't charge me a thing. They could've easily made up something & gotten hundreds of dollars out of me. They earned my trust since then. I'm exclusive to them & refuse to go anywhere else. I love the ladies that run the desk, very sweet, honest & make you feel comfortable. It's true, their tire prices are very very reasonable. Over the years, every service they provide, I've done. & have been completely satisfied each & every time. I was disappointed they don't touch any issues regarding transmissions. Unfortunatly, I had to get my transmission rebuilt & they don't do that. We had a problem with the A/C in my father-in-laws van, and based on Yelp reviews among others I took it here for repair. Mark did a great job of diagnosing and fixing the problem. The work took a little longer than originally expected but they kept us well informed, and did a great job returning the vehicle to having super cold A/C. I was also pleased with the fact that, even though it seemed to take some additional hours of labor to do the work, they stuck by their original quote. They also changed out the in cabin air filter for no charge, without even being asked. Finally, they returned the vehicle with the interior in the same great clean shape it was in to begin with. I highly recommend these guys for their work on automotive A/C systems. read more

I first called this shop to ask for a quote for replacement of my catalytic converter. I spoke directly with their muffler man, who said it would be about $180. I also had a leaking radiator, so I decided to drop the car off there the following day. When I took the car in I mentioned the radiator, the cat, and also asked them for one of their "free ac inspections" since my ac has been intermittently working ice cold and then blowing hot air. I received a call from Mark saying that the radiator was indeed cracked, and replacement was gonna be $280. Sounded fair enough. Then I got a call a little while later, was told that the catalytic converter was clogged and need replacement. He said that would cost me $250. huh? I stopped him in his tracks, and mentioned that I spoke with their muffler guy who quoted me $180? He said "well I just spoke with the muffler guy, and this was his price". I should have told him to forget it right then and there, just do the radiator and take my business elsewhere, but I was very pressed for time and just needed the car fixed. So I agreed. No offer was made to lower the price even a little bit by Mark. Their 10%off discount is completely bogus, at least it was for me!! He could have offered to lower it even $10 bucks to make me feel better about it, but instead all I got was well that's his price. I reminded him that my car was hesitating and had very slow acceleration after authorizing the replacement of the converter. I came to pick up the car the next morning, and while he was ringing me up for the $550 bill, I causally mentioned that I was glad that the catalytic converter turned out to be clogged because my car was sooo slow before hand, and that I was looking forward to having a faster car, and he said "well it's definitely not slow now, haha" and we both chuckled about it. Now the good part, as soon as my girlfriend and I leave, we discover that the car is in fact absolutely not one iota faster with its acceleration, and the hesitation was still present as well! They clearly didn't even take it for a single test drive. Which brings me to my next issue that I forgot to mention- Mark called me back and said "we've been driving your car for over an hour, and the a/c hasn't failed, so I don't know what the problem is". I was fine with that since I fully realize that intermittent issues are the most difficult to diagnose. What I find interesting, was that the mileage was exactly the same as it was when I left it! My guess is they ran it for 15 minutes then said screw it since it was working. That IS NOT a professional a/c diagnosis in my opinion. They probably pegged me for someone who couldn't afford a/c work as I already wasn't thrilled with the jacked up, bait& switch-esque price to replace a universal converter, so when the ac worked at first they just gave up on looking for the problem. Basically, I guess their charges to me would be considered average in the automotive repair world, but their bait & switch like pricing, and lack of any attempt at making a customer happy by offering to meet me halfway or at least explain why the price jumped up $70 with no explanation!! Not acceptable in this day and age, this is not good customer service. The work itself seemed to be done fine, but I will not be going back to this shop ever due to their poor customer service and their price "quotes" which can't even be trusted. Save your money and go to a more trustworthy repair shop. I for one am going to bring my car to Orlando Import Auto Specialists as they have excellent online reviews which all mentioned how honest those guys are. read more

My wife recently went in to have the A/C worked on on her Honda Civic. I had accidentally overfilled the freon level & as a result the car was running terrible. She was immediately impressed with the waiting area and said it was very nice for an automotive service business. At first, the guy behind the counter accidentally helped 2 people that had arrived after her. But, when she brought that to his attention, he sincerely apologized and took care of her problem within 5 minutes. They didn't even charge us one dime. The car is running great now. We will definitely go back when we have a A/C issues with our cars and highly recommend them. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. The guys at the front desk seemed nice, but sent me back to the exhaust guy and wow. He was a prick. Maybe having a bad day? I don't usually write reviews, but my experience here was pretty terrible. I showed the guy (playing solitaire on windows, not really looking at what I wanted to do) my exhaust idea. He looked up and said "Man, I hate those F**king cars." Then I asked how much it would be to do it, he proceeded to say "You don't have enough money for that." - This guy is awful. No way to treat someone, especially someone who came there based off internet reviews, and a friend referral. Meanwhile, i'm having another shop do it for $150. Simple job. So much for "CUSTOM EXHAUST." Avoid this place. Didn't catch the guys name, but he was the muffler guy. Go somewhere where they appreciate their customer base. read more

I wanted to have an STi catback exhaust installed on my Forester XT to replace the stock unit that had rusted bolts. They installed a short shifter on my 2015 Mustang GT and did an amazing job. It's not any where near as easy as most short shifter installs are but they knocked it out of the park and didn't try to gouge me on price like the dealership did. Clean quality work. My new go to for the jobs I wouldn't attempt myself. read more
