I was dealing with heavy congestion, constant sneezing, itchy eyes, and a LOT of eye and nasal drainage. I felt miserable and wasn't getting relief. I explained that I had already tried Zyrtec and Flonase without improvement. Despite that, I was told to continue taking those and was referred to an allergy specialist. No in-office treatment was provided. The interaction with the PA also felt uncomfortable. I'm a straightforward person and communicate directly (I work in construction), but no disrespect was intended. I was told I interrupted her, even though she had paused speaking. The exchange felt tense, and I left feeling unheard and frustrated -- especially after already dealing with symptoms for so long. The next day, I went to a different clinic. That provider evaluated me further and explained I was developing an infection that was starting to move toward my lungs. I was treated with steroids and antibiotics and finally started getting relief. Office was not busy, and when someone comes in clearly worsening and not responding to standard allergy meds, I would hope for a more thorough evaluation and better communication. I left feeling discouraged and without help.

I am close to a year trying to contact them (billing number nobody ever answers, I submitted multiple online tickets) for an invoice they keep sending me instead of billing Medicaid. They actually bill you through NextCare and there is no way of contacting their billing (see above).

I've had occasion to visit the location in Midwest City, OK, twice in the last year. Once in…read moreAugust, 2015, and again in June, 2016. During the June, 2016, visit I asked the front desk personnel if the facility was still covered under my insurance, as they were the last time I found myself in their lobby. She assured me that they were and asked for my co-pay. As my deductible had been met already, this should have tipped me off. Get to the back relatively quickly and through the intake with the nurse, and shown to a room. The doctor comes in for maybe 30 seconds, then leaves and sends the nurse back in. Finish with the nurse, go to check out desk. Was looked at like she didn't know why I was there. I asked if there was any paperwork I needed. Nope. Have a nice day. Fast forward a couple weeks: received a bill from the facility's billing department. They show that I had a credit from my 2015 visit for the amount of my co-pay. They also show a credit for the co-pay I gave during the 2016 visit. There is still an amount owing. I call the number on the bill to speak with their accounts receivable department. The woman who answered my call couldn't tell me anything except that the insurance was paying me direct and I would need to pay them. She was bristly and unwilling to work with me. I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor gets on the call, and after speaking for a couple of minutes puts me on hold and checks the insurance website. She ends up having to verify my telephone number for a call back, as she's going to call my insurance company to find out more information since the information showing in the online section from my insurance that she can see doesn't have what she needs to know. She calls back, and explains that the amount on the bill is still owing by me, and that I should have received a check from my insurance company. Hasn't arrived yet. The supervisor (and the person I spoke with before her, as well) did not answer why I would have the credit balance from a year ago instead of that amount being refunded to me, and why I was charged a co-pay during my 2016 visit when there was already a credit balance and I'd met my yearly deductible. I've spoken with my insurance lady and she tells me that my insurance company says the facility itself is covered by my insurance, but the doctor's contract has expired. Had the billing office billed under the facility, this would have resulted in no phone calls and no idea that they were now holding two co-pays as a credit to my account... which I still have a problem with as far as policy goes regarding overpayments... and I would not be expecting a check in the mail from the insurance company, who is paying for the bill even though the doctor is out of network. Apparently I will be receiving a check for this directly and then passing along the portion they still show that I owe over and above the now-applied account credits from overpaid co-pays. It shouldn't be this difficult, nor should there be a total lack of transparency with regard to how and why charges are billed the way they are. When the facility is covered, it should be the facility that bills, not the doctor. The only reason this review is receiving two stars instead of one is because the nurse knew what she was doing. Apparently no one else there was interested in doing their job. I have no plans to return to this facility, or this company at all. When there are ripples on the surface like this, there is going to be a bigger problem below. No thank you.

Consequently, my rash continued to quickly spread across my face, despite my pleas for the proper meds for an allergy I've dealt with most of my life. She insisted I had shingles instead and sent me away with OTC pain meds instead of the steroids I was prescribed by my doctor the next Monday. Once I got the meds I knew I needed, my rash reduced within a couple of days. If you know your own needs, don't use this clinic. They will not listen to you about your own health history.
