Although he is not my personal physician, he is my parents' doctor, and they absolutely adore him. They often speak about how gentle, attentive, and caring he is with them. Because my parents are in their 80s, his kindness extends to me as well. He took the time to reassure me and even told me that I could call him anytime if I had questions or concerns--something very few doctors would offer. In addition, his staff is just as wonderful: consistently friendly, respectful, and helpful, which truly makes a difference. I've been dealing with the surgery coordinator and because she dropped the ball and failed to inform me with adequate amount of time regarding needing to schedule an appointment for my son's DME prior to surgery now they are completely booked, this surgery coordinator said all I had to do was go pick up the dme she failed to mention it was a whole ordeal with appointments and fittings and required booking in advance now the pcr covid test we just had was a waste...I was just called Friday to be informed of this... it took almost three months for this office to get my son in for a surgery that we had to prepare for an advanced long before with work and what not only to be cancelled days before because of an office error... I did everything buy the book instruction by instruction in the timely manner that I was told preparing for the surgery one would put that information together and conclude that the ball was definitely not dropped on my end but instead the point is I was kicked out extremely rudely, he did not allow me to explain how his staff dropped the ball he scolded me as a mother and said it was his office and he could do whatever he wanted he said he did not care about what happened and his only concern was the fact that I kept calling him mr. Instead of doctor like he literally stopped me from talking to acknowledge the fact that I didn't say doctor before his name out of all the things even with tears in my eyes of frustration regarding my son and such a major surgery he was self-centered zero compassion and literally said how much he didn't care what I had to say...mind you this is during business hours. For someone who was so persistent about being called the doctor he sure wasn't acting like one because under the oath of a doctor their first line of business is to care for the well-being and complete health of a patient and this case this so-called doctor only cared about protecting his staff which up until now I had no problem with I even told him there was a clear misunderstanding or lack of communication and even with that he continue to just kick me out verbally telling me to be quiet and leave it was the worst experience ever I do not recommend this office or this doctor he was beyond disgusting with his lack of character. Supposedly I'm going to hear back from dr. Murphy at some point but if this "dr. show wacker aka schauweker will have any part of my son surgery or will be in the OR then I am pulling my authorization and most definitely going somewhere else... cuz I want no part of such a horrible human being to touch my little being God knows what kind of things he might do in there! Dr. Murphy who also works in the same office will be retiring this year and I'm pretty confident that once he's gone most patients will diminish from such horrible service! A little side note I called 10 times before driving myself to the office with a broken foot on crutches because they refuse to answer the phone after I had called earlier and spoke to the surgery coordinator... who by the way needs to learn customer service I'm sure when they hired her and in her line of business is extremely important to have patience with people and not threatening to hang up because voices or tones are elevated or when they're clearly frustrated she should know that she needs to be the one to stay quiet and listen as to what the patient's problem is so they get the issue taken care of....MONTHS waiting putting my whole life on hold, job and all not to mention having to speak and prepare my 8 yrs old for major surgery and this is what I get......? It looks horrible. It's been 3 months since the toenail removal and now MY NAIL IS GROWING SIDEWAYS! I used to have nails that grew straight, now the tip of the nail is curved to one side. My nails are now crooked and so ugly from how they were. My nail no longer touches one side of the skin border where the original nail was. I don't leave reviews often, but I wish someone would have warned me of this. She claimed to have done thousands of nails, yet couldn't help to tell me why my nail was sideways. Dr. Tonya said that this was not a cosmetic surgery, basically telling me that my nails were just going to look like deformed and sideways. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC!
