Some details: My room smelled strongly like cigarettes even though there are "no smoking" signs everywhere. It also got lots of noise from a cafe just outside the window. The stairwell smelled like mildew. The tap water smelled like sulfur. I wouldn't drink it. And my shower sprayed water all over the floor. I couldn't figure out how to avoid this, and I'm not an idiot, I swear. So I guess I should have brought sandals or something, since I don't really want to get my feet all wet every time I use the bathroom. read more
