It seemed to start out good. I got to hotel. In a nice area of town. And you walk in and it has a cute lobby area and the girl at desk was nice. Spoke very little English but with my French I "checked in". She told me the room wouldn't be ready for 2 hours...I was early. So I asked if I could change and leave my bag and go explore until then. 15 min later..after I changed she said the room was ready. So I was excited. She asked me my name. I paid the tax in cash and she gave me my key. I took stairs to room and when I opened it I was highly disappointed. The room looked old and run down. Nothing like the photo w the nice decor pillows or the blanket One small table that was all chipped and dirty. And one small chair. The bathroom was clean. But the shower head had horrible pressure so showering was difficult and everywhere got wet. Either way the room had AC and with 90 degree weather this was a must. I figured for $90/night I got what I paid for. At least good location and had AC. So after I rinsed off I went out for about 5 hours. When I returned to my room all of my stuff was gone. I had a mini panic attack Went down to reception and no one there. I yelled and rang bell for 5-8 min before another guy came who spoke less English and tried to explain the girl checked me into the wrong guy room so they grabbed my stuff and put in storage. I don't understand how that was my fault and/or why they touched my stuff. In the end he told me to go back to the same room for my two night stay. I never saw the breakfast bc I didn't make it down in time. So not sure if it was worth the 10€. They did have a nice coffee and juice in lobby that either they didn't charge me for or it was free. Not sure. Either way not sure I'd ever come back here again. And if I did it wouldn't be for more than the $90 I paid for this time. Anything more than that is not worth it. The room is a box and has outdated walls, paint and furniture. Bed is ok but not the best. Again the only saving grace was the AC read more
