Their estimate was in the middle of the 3 we received, but $2,000 higher than the roofing company we hired to install our new roof. When I texted Rhett to tell him we had gone with a roofing company whose estimate was more budget friendly for us, within moments I received a hard sell text telling me how the brand of shingles they used were far superior to any other brand of shingles out there and that I needed to consider that in making my decision. Believe me since this was the first new roof on my house in 25+ years I did my research on shingle brands and didn't choose a roofing company using some bargain basement brand of shingles! That $2,000 we saved is now more money that we are able to spend on other needed house projects.

He fixed half of them and then left. When I reached out again for follow up I received the text below, which may be the worst customer service I've ever received. The invoice has been paid in full and it looks like we are going to have to hire another company to come out and fix it. The company was never told that we were satisfied as they stated in the text.

The estimate was scheduled promptly and the estimator was friendly but kept pushing drippage rails on us saying it required by NC building codes and we would not get a warranty on the new roof if it was not installed which we found out later was not true. It is RECOMMNEDED but not required by NC building codes. On top of that their estimate was the highest of all the estimates we received and $3,300 higher than the roofing company we went with to install our new roof. That's a lot of money we saved to put into another project on the house. Follow up to owner's comments: If drip rails are required by Nc building code as you claim then why did none of the other estimates we received even mention them?? Much less tell us that we needed them to get the warranty on our new roof? Maybe that why your estimate was so much higher than any of the other estimates we received.

I had it removed as a…read moreprecaution then an ill wind comes through blowing no good and plenty of it... tearing up shingles and other nonsense :-\ I made some calls and John came out and had a look, took a whole bunch of pictures, came back to meet with the adjuster and kept the whole thing moving along... John explained what was involved: synthetic underlayment, ice and water barrier, ridge vent, drip edge, a couple sheets of decking and a day and a half later the whole thing looks good as new - because it is! They cleaned up nice too; no scraps or bit or pieces or wrappers or anything laying around; a little raking, some blowering, and a couple guys did a couple passes with the nail finders and the place looks a little better than when they showed up. Good news/bad news: they do such nice work that I'm probably never going to see these guys again.

However, I thought it necessary to give Matt at Evergreen a big shout-out for his estimate process on 9/11/18 for several highlighted reasons: 1) Aside from the roofer we went with, Matt was the only other one who investigated the leak from the inside. I had offered the same option to the first 2 companies who gave estimates, & even to the insurance company's roof inspector, but all declined. Plus, Matt asked about looking at the interior of the leak area before I even advised of the crawlspace option. 2) Matt only sold me on fixing just the leaky area and resulting rot, rather than re-flashing the whole roof line, which had been the go-to (and more expensive) fix thrown out by others. 3) Matt was generous enough to throw together a makeshift patch while he was there, since Hurricane Florence was approaching that weekend and we weren't going to be able to get the leak fixed ahead of the storm. 4) Above all, Matt was nice and respectful, and gave off a very trustworthy vibe just from a few minutes of interaction. A re-read of his other reviews showed many experiences similar to mine with above & beyond work, but without overselling or fixing unnecessary things. Although we didn't go with Matt for our project, you can feel confident if you choose him for your roofing needs!

It was overkill and unnecessary. All-Tite came and looked at my roof and was absolutely positive they could do the repair I needed even though it was double shingled! They also quoted me a price that was much much less than the other companies. It turned out to be a lot more worth than was originally planned, but the guys that came out worked on this for hours on end and actually had to come back the next day to finish it up. Please be aware of this company.I had a new roof done by another company and they didn't do gutters…read moreso hired Campbell precision roofing to do my seamless gutters and let me tell you it was a complete disaster.They got the job done fast but ripped a shingle on my new roof and ruined the new drip edge around the perimeter of my roof.Daniel did fix the shingle but when trying to fix drip edge the underlayment was all torn up and they straight up lied to me that all went well but when I lifted up shingles when I got home it was obvious that it wasn't repaired properly and my new roof is now compromised and my drip edge looks like a beaver attacked it and Daniel no longer willing to work on a solution (ignores messages) but honestly it's ok cause I would never let these people near my house again.and remember this roof system was only 4 weeks old.I have never left a bad review but when a company damages a new roofing system and lies in the process I feel it needs to be out there for others to see.
