Happy to have found a reliable appliance repair business when my fridge was no longer cooling…read more Going off of online reviews only, I found this family owned business. The dad answered the phone and was polite and professional and quickly set up an appt. His son Matt (also very polite and professional and one of two sons in the business) came out for the service call, diagnosed the issue and was promptly back out to replace damaged part after the new part came in. It's hard to know who to call when an appliance fails, but I would definitely call this business again!

I'm giving this company 2 stars because of the attitude of the owner NOT the workmanship. We felt…read morewe weren't really treated with respect because we're leasing the house where the A/C was being installed and weren't the owner. The first time I talked to Sean he was extremely rude to me on the phone. My husband told me to call back in and leave a message about how rude he was. I said in my message, I shudder to think how he would treat others if he was the owner. He did call me back and apologized. I left a couple of more voicemails as well as my husband, asking for a return phone call, but we were ignored. When he did call to check with us about the time for installation, he told me they would be at my home around 10:00 AM the next morning. He arrived with his helper at 9:00 AM, but didn't call to let me know they would be a head of schedule, but instead called to let me know they were waiting outside my back gate and needed to get in. Of course I wasn't quite ready so I had to throw on my clothes and get out there. They worked steady through the day & seemingly did a good job. The real problem occurred when I followed him out to close the back gate. I walked down the deck stairs and on my last step I came down on an uneven pavement walkway. I immediately dropped to the ground, and I had heard my ankle pop and snap. As I rolled around on the ground, holding my ankle and moaning, I knew they were right behind me standing by the truck watching me. They never uttered a word for about a minute, then asked, "Are you going to be ok?" I said after taking a moment to try and compose myself, "I'm not sure, I'm just hoping my ankle isn't broken." I was praying out loud, just asking the Lord to please help it to not be broken. Sean walked around me to go on the deck to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything. I was crawling up the deck stairs hoping I would be able to put weight on my ankle. Still at this point, neither one came to help me, ask if there was anything they could get me before they left or offer to call anyone. Sean said as he did hold the door open for me, "Sorry you busted your ankle. Better put it up and put ice on it. Bye" I would NOT recommend this company purely on that basis. How you treat and respect others has a lot to say about your work ethic. I still can't imagine he is the owner of this business. To add one more thing, he did tell us how to use the thermostat, but said nothing about the filters. My husband had to go down to the basement and look to see if we had them, where they were and how often to change them out. I would have thought since our landlord just paid him nearly $8,000.00, that might have been something he thought was important. Silly me.

Our less than three-year-old LG washing machine sprung a major leak on a Friday morning. After…read morechecking the LG website for certified LG repair service providers in the local area, I called Authorized Service to schedule an appointment. I was able to get an appointment the next day on Saturday morning. I was told that the technician would be there within the window of 8AM to 12PM and that he would call before arriving. True to their word, the technician, Tim, called a little after 8 to let us know that he was a few minutes away. He was friendly, polite, and professional. He was very efficient and proficient in diagnosing the source of the leak, a ruptured hose inside the washer, which was impossible to miss. However, I appreciated the fact he performed a thorough inspection of our washer to verify its condition to best troubleshoot the problem. Apparently, the hose that burst wasn't a part that usually fails, so he didn't have a replacement part to perform the repair on the spot. Fortunately, Authorized Service had the part in stock and he said he'd return on Monday to fix it. He was true to his word. When Monday rolled around, Tim called again a little after 8 to let me know that he was on his way. He replaced the burst hose. Upon performing a function check of the washer, another hose began swelling and leaking. He discovered a blockage to that hose, which was the reason the first hose ruptured. He replaced that hose, too, and everything was back to normal working order. All told, for both visits, he was in and out in under an hour. I was very pleased with the service we received from Authorized Service and especially from Tim, the technician that was sent to perform the repair. While I don't have any other experiences by which to compare prices, needless to say, I found their price to be very fair and definitely much cheaper and more convenient than having to drive to a laundromat or taking our laundry to the cleaners for an extended period of time. They lived up to every statement that was made to me with regards to my scheduled appointment window. I highly recommend Authorized Service for your appliance (at least, LG washer) repairs.

The rep that came out from this company arrived on time, but that's about as good as it got. The rep had 0 personality and was downright rude to my ailing mother. He came and went to look at the dishwasher and stated that it would need pulled from the counter. Why wasn't this stated before he ever showed up? Instead, he asked if we could remove it or had anyone we could call to do so. I dont know if anyone has something they can call to do such a task at 8 am on speed dial, but we sure don't! He then told us he won't risk taking it out and damaging the flooring, so instead pulled the bottom panel and stated that he'd have to order a part to repair it. My only concern is that without seeing the whole unit, how are we certain that the correct part is being ordered. I would love to tell what his name was. However, I was never provided with a name! Man had no people skills whatsoever, and for someone who works hand in hand with customers, I think he may need a new line of work!

They were on site on Friday morning, I asked them specifically if they could install a specific Trane system that I wanted to purchase or if they could get me a better price on their system. I had the exact make/model/price of a unit that they could compare with. They promised me they would write it up both ways and have it to me by the end of the day. I give them all of Friday and Saturday with no response and message them Sunday and Monday to see what's going on and get promised by the end of today again. I was lied to again and had to message them again before they finally sent me a quote on Tuesday. It was only at this time that I was told that they couldn't install the unit I wanted and that their "competitively" priced equivalent unit was over 200% the cost of what I told them I was initially looking at. Their eventual quote for their Goodman system was also 20% more expensive than the carrier system that one of the most reviewed and reputable companies in Dayton/Springfield quoted me. I understand that installing third party systems is not common in the industry which is why it was the first thing I asked. It should not take 5 days of leading me on to tell me they can't do it.
