AJ is respectful, honest, and loves what he does - and it shows! He is NOT simply making another sale when you come through the front door. I can say this because I was told specifically that there is no pressure to buy, and he took his time to understand my concerns, without any sales gimmicks, or trying to hide issues from me - every aspect of the vehicle & the process was completely transparent through the entire sale. AJ & Shelsy made this buying process simple and a whole lot of FUN! They are the perfect balance of "business serious" & "laughing fun", which will brighten your day!! Because of their knowledge from years in the auto business, and their customer service, I DEFINITLY recommend Doroci Auto Sales for your next vehicle! Oh, and even if the vehicle you want is not on his lot, AJ has the business acumen & connections to find your vehicle, and get it for you! This exceptional experience with AJ & Shelsy has taken the stress out of car buying - because buying a vehicle should not mean added stress! AJ & Shelsy have created a fun and exciting car-buying experience for you, and NOT something from your nightmares! Doroci Auto Sales is definitely not forgetting about the human experience when car buying! Thank you very much for the great deal! -John from MD

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this dealership was so unprofessional that I…read morefeel others deserve to know what happened. Before making the hour-long drive to the dealership, we spoke with someone over the phone, submitted all of the requested information for a loan approval, and were told we had been approved. When we asked about the interest rate, we were told we would need to come in person to discuss it. Once we arrived, everything changed. The sales/finance manager immediately asked for pay stubs or bank statements. My brother, who is a government employee, explained that for security reasons he couldn't access his pay stubs from just any computer and would be able to provide them the following day from work. That seemed like a reasonable explanation. I simply asked whether they could give us an estimate of what the interest rate might look like in the meantime. Instead of answering the question professionally, the manager asked why I was speaking for my brother since he was the one buying the vehicle. I explained that he was a first-time buyer and that I had previously worked as a car sales consultant, so I was familiar with the process and was only trying to help. His attitude immediately became hostile. He told us that he was "very busy" because he ran both the sales and finance departments and that customers were calling to buy cars. He then said that us not coming "prepared" was aggravating to him--even though we had already submitted everything they requested before driving an hour to the dealership, and they were the ones who told us to come in. At that point, I told my brother we were leaving. As we walked away, the manager's parting words were, "Have a fucking nice day." I responded by telling him that he was being disrespectful and that an adult should conduct himself professionally. Instead of de-escalating the situation, he continued yelling profanities at us as we left. I've purchased and sold vehicles before, and I've never been treated with such disrespect. Regardless of whether a deal goes through, every customer deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! I bought a 2021 Nissan Versa there with only 25,000 miles on it at the end…read moreof May 2025. I recognize you are taking a chance when you buy a used car but didn't expect any major issues because the mileage was so low and the carfax mentioned it was in a 2 fender benders but only cosmetic damage which was repaired before I bought it. However, a month after having the car I had to 1)replace tires, 2)brakes & rotors, 3)car putts and has stalls on me and still trying to figure that out after paying for 2 diagnostics. Took it to Nissan dealership because the powertrain warranty is still effective but dealerships do what they can and lie until the warranty expires so they basically did nothing but charge me for looking at it and give me a list of services I need to buy including 5) a bent strut assembly. Lastly, 5) the airbag light came on saying there is something wrong with it. So to my point the dealership basically sold me a piece of junk and offered me to buy an extended warranty 2 months later after my complaints. This is probably more of a moral issue than a legal issue but when a place has no integrity and don't care what they sell you, you probably should NOT buy from them. Also, learn from me to get the car thoroughly checked before buying regardless of what shape you think its in. It will save you the headache I have right now!

I have been on a search for a 2018 White Limited Outback for- what feels like forever. I have…read moresearched through all of Northern Virginia (I'm from Arlington, VA) and I finally found it here, in Waldorf. I contacted the dealership for a quote, countered with another dealers price match and headed over right away. As we pulled in, the car was already there, waiting for me to view it. The employees were incredibly friendly. I was greeted by the Sales Manager, Amanda, and she went to locate my salesperson, Angelo. It turned out he went for a test drive with another client, so Tara happily filled into and informed us of all the specs the outback had. She went over ALL of it. This is my second Subaru so I did a lot of research on the outback prior to coming and she verified EVERYTHING I researched. She happily took my husband and I for a test drive around the area and was very understanding when I told her how uncomfortable I was driving in an area I was unfamiliar with and she took me through a less busy route. Once Angelo was available, she handed us off to him but was still available for any additional questions. I knew the conditions I wanted to meet when coming in and Angelo met all of them with no fuss. He was very considerate of our time. We saw AJ in Finance shortly after. That process was as smooth as it could possibly get. Lisa went over some optional extras that could be added to our car for protection purposes and was very understanding when we politely declined. We were out of there quickly and drove the vehicle back to VA before traffic got bad. This, by far, has been my best car buying experience (this is also my 3rd car buying experience). No one pressured me to do ANYTHING. They were all understanding when I did or did not want to do something. I requested to have their sticker (and the previous dealerships sticker) to be removed and before I knew it, it was gone. I answered every tiny question I had with a smile. Even walking to the bathroom, the employees waved and smiled at me. SUPPERR FRIENDLY. They kept mentioning how quickly they want to get us out of there and we kept to their word, they got out of their quickly without low balling me on my conditions. Keep doing amazing work! They are an example that team work really does makes a difference to a customers experience. BTW- they are split with VW so if you're looking for a VW car, they got both car brands here.

I brought my 2016 Outback here because it was binding during low-speed turns and felt like the…read moretransmission was jerking into Park and Reverse with a noticeable clunk. I specifically chose a Subaru dealer because I wanted Subaru-trained technicians diagnosing an AWD/transmission issue. I was told the transfer clutch was bad and replacing it would address my symptoms. Based on that diagnosis, I authorized the repair. Communication was frustrating from the beginning. I initially approved approximately $700 in spark plugs but called the next day and asked not to have them done to save money. Afterward, the service writer repeatedly changed his answer about whether they had already been done. "I don't know" became an answer I heard far too often. To be fair, they eventually reduced the spark plug charge, although not the full amount. My bill was $2,777.22. I planned to pay by debit but decided to use my credit card for points. Only AFTER my card was processed did I discover a 3% fee, bringing the total to $2,860.53. The service writer told me he'd been telling customers about the fee all day but "just forgot" to tell me. Had I known, I would have used debit. Then came the bigger issue. When they called to say the car was fixed, I was also warned that my TCM "may go bad soon." I picked up the car, turned out of the dealership, and IMMEDIATELY noticed the binding was significantly WORSE. I turned right back around. My dashcam automatically records when the car starts. The footage showed the car being moved around the dealership but no public-road test drive that I could find. That mattered because I couldn't understand how anyone could have road-tested this car and not noticed what I noticed before I could even leave the dealership. After I raised the dashcam footage, I noticed it being disconnected during subsequent visits. I'm not speculating why. That's simply what happened. They then diagnosed the TCM as bad and replaced it at no charge. To their credit, that appears to have resolved the binding. But this is the heart of my complaint: if there was already enough concern about the TCM to warn me it might fail immediately after pickup, why wasn't that part of the ORIGINAL diagnosis? The jerking/clunk into Park and Reverse also remained. I was then told I needed an approximately $10,000 transmission. Later, the service manager told me they couldn't actually diagnose transmission issues because they didn't have a technician trained to do so. So how was a $10,000 transmission diagnosed? I was also suddenly quoted approximately $2,000 for valve cover gaskets despite having no known leak when the car arrived. When I asked why this wasn't found during their initial inspection, the service manager said they don't inspect "internal parts." I pointed out that they had just performed the spark plugs and were working directly in the valve cover area, where evidence of a visible leak could have been observed. After telling me they couldn't replicate the original jerking/clunk, the service writer also mentioned they had inspected my transmission mount and asked whether it had recently been replaced. I have since found multiple reports of similar symptoms involving the mount and plan to replace it myself. I'm NOT claiming the mount is definitely the problem, but I don't understand why it warranted their attention yet wasn't suggested as something to investigate before recommending a $10,000 transmission. I eventually escalated everything to the GM. He mentioned a $5,000 solution for my car. I immediately said I could do that. Only afterward did the conversation change to $5,000 being contingent on trading the vehicle in. My biggest issue isn't that an older car needed repairs. Cars break. My issue is that I made a roughly $2,800 financial decision based on the diagnosis I was given. Had I been told from the beginning, "Your transfer clutch is bad AND your TCM is bad or showing signs of a problem," I most likely would have found a way to trade the vehicle rather than put thousands into it. Maybe I still would have repaired it. Maybe I would have traded it. But that should have been MY decision to make with accurate information. To be fair, they replaced the TCM at no charge and reduced the spark plug charge. I appreciate both. But neither gives me back the financial decision I made based on the original diagnosis. I went to a Subaru dealer because I expected competent diagnosis, straight answers and clear communication. Instead, this experience caused me to lose confidence not only in this service department but in the Ourisman brand. I would not take another vehicle to an Ourisman dealership for service. I've dealt with Fitzgerald Auto Mall and, in my experience, their diagnostic process and communication have been significantly better. I spent roughly $2,800 before I ever got the complete picture. That's the part of this experience I can't get back.
