The relief I've experienced from her treatments over the course of the last five weeks has been extraordinary. I began seeing her to help with occasional tingling in my fingers, but after she noticed the swelling in my knee (and leg), she began treating my knee as well. I've had two major knee surgeries. Following the replacement surgery, the swelling never completely subsided. I had physical therapy for months afterwards, but it always returned. I wasn't in pain, but my knee felt "heavy" and this made walking for long distances uncomfortable. Much to my astonishment, after only one treatment with Dr. Chen, I noticed an immediate decrease in the swelling of both my knee and ankle. I've continued the sessions in the hope of completely reducing the swelling by the end of the year, something Dr. Chen believes is achievable. It has been a truly restorative experience. I asked if he was going to do the acupuncture with the electrical stimulation and he tried gas lighting me by saying he has not done it in 20 years because someone passed out on him and his assistant said he dies does do it on who he feels needs it. I know what I have had in the past that the reason I came back , but instead I was told I never had that done in his office. I would have never came here if he did not offer it anymore. If he does not do acupuncture anymore then he should let people know he only does cupping so people could know what exactly he offers. This was not a very good experience, especially trying to gas light me like I never had it done in the past by him.
