Dr. Kim is the best. He always has a smile on my face and jokes around. Shannon who works front desk is also on top of it. I've actually booked through their website and I always get a call back from Shannon to confirm. The experience itself has been wonderful. I've gone 2-3 times now to manage my tight traps and do feel a difference. Wit my level activity I think it will take some more sessions and additional methods to see a difference but I do believe it's helped. On top of acupuncture he also provides cupping and the leg pressure sleeves which is great experience for the price. The facility itself is also very spacious and clean. This is my first try at acupuncture. I have pain in my neck from a strain or fall and wanted to try acupuncture. I've had two appointments and felt really good after, able to turn my head a little without pain. I'm told that two appointments per week will turn that around. Very clean operation. The waiting room is pleasant and the Rooms are relaxing. Very friendly and nice front desk and doctor. I go here for a lower back injury, primarily. Needles get put in for about 15 minutes. Sometimes it stings in random spots.. but it goes away in a few seconds. Maybe there is extra tension in those areas or maybe I'm just a bit sensitive. Cupping is also applied afterwards for about 10 minutes. It seems to help with circulation and relaxation. I like it. Very calm afterwards. And it's now covered by insurance. So why not. I always look forward to coming to this clinic. Every time I come in, I leave feeling great. First there is the acupuncture needles, they the cupping which is my favorite part, it releases all the muscle tension on my body. The relief is immediate and lasts for weeks. I have had amazing experiences with acupuncture with a different provider. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. The appointment was very short, and he didn't even do any of the typical things an acupuncturist does upon first meeting you (e.g. testing for dampness, looking at tongue, etc). i saw dr kim back in 2007 when i was going through medical hell. that entire year i saw every type of dr and did every type of test and ended up getting dx'd with a auto immune disease. when i saw dr. kim i was under a lot of anxiety -- he calmed me down and said i would be ok. i did cupping and put on this suit over my legs that massaged them. i was there about an hour and it definitely helped calm me and relax my body. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Kim since he first opened last year. My treatments here have made a huge difference in my life. Initially I came in with pneumonia and I walked out after the first visit feeling substantially better. i continued treatments to get my immune system stronger and now rarely get sick. I had never had acupuncture before going to this clinic. The office and treatment rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated in a calming, serene way. I suffer from spinal stenosis with nerve pain that shoots down my legs. The doctor uses varied acupuncture methods and I always have relief from my lower back and leg pain afterwards. The acupuncture helped my arthritis. The problem is he really pushed buying minimaxa sticks from him at $50 per box. They helped but I found the exact same minimaxa sticks for $8.00 a box on line. read more

I have been going to Dr Kim for several months now and I can honestly say that he has helped to improve the quality of my life. I have gone to a few acupuncturists in my lifetime and Dr. Kim tops them all. And Shannon, who covers the reception and helps in other areas, is very gracious and efficient. I am currently being treated for periodontal disease--about five weeks, twice a week, so far. The disease is gone, but I'm hoping for regeneration of some bone and tissue. Even if that does not happen, the by-product of these treatments is that my energy is much better (I was very fatigued), my emotions are more balanced (better than psychotherapy!), not so much dryness, less sensitivity to cold, and I just feel better overall. When maximum healing possible is reached in this area, then I hope to have him treat my scoliosis. I have always understood that acupuncture only works if it is done frequently and for an extended period, so I feel very fortunate that I have the time and insurance to be able to have these treatments.
