The people are not very friendly and the woman who was working on my eyebrows kept insisting on threading other parts of my face when I asked for only eyebrows. She didn't clean up the eyebrows well, as there were still stray hairs. I asked her to touch up an area, and she did, but it still needed to be done again. When I left, I noticed there was another area that was not done well. The only upside is the price, as it is only $10 for eyebrow threading, which is a good price, but not worth the service. read more

I usually get my eyebrows threaded in Costa Mesa at NaNu (which is grewat btw) but at 5:30pm, driving from HB to Costa Mesa and back was not on my list of things to to. The best friend and I were driving around and she needed to get her eyebrows threaded, so I looked on Yelp and found this place. It's located in the same plaza as Boston Market, Cherry on Top, and Stater Bros, towards the corner of Goldenwest and Warner. The shop is small, clean, and usually isn't busy, but there's a waiting area in the front so you can sit down and read a magazine if there is a wait. There are about three chairs and I always see the same two ladies in there. The best friend's been going for a while and always loves the results. I've been trying to grow my eyebrows out, but I finally decided to try it out. I honestly haven't had my eyebrows threaded since I was in high school. I forgot that it sorta hurts, but hey, beauty is pain. Just gotta deal. They lady did a great job cleaning my brows up for me, but she made them a bit thinner than I would have liked, even though I asked her to keep them full looking. I've moved to Huntington Beach a month ago, therefore I needed to find a new place to get my eyebrows and upper lips threaded. Thanks to yelp, i found i Threading, this place was only a few blocks away. I called ahead of time to make sure I didn't need to book any appointments and I didn't. The lady on the phone just said to come in anytime. This place is a little tricky to find... if you are directionally challenged like me, it is directly across the Home Depot on Warner Ave. This place is really clean and empty when I walked in (maybe because the business is still new?). One of the ladies greeted me and had me sign in and right away sat me down to get me started. The lady who threaded my eyebrows and lips was very kind and gentle. She made sure i liked what she had done with one side before completing the other. Besides the pain, it was done quickly. Prices are reasonable and for your first visit, you get 20% off. :D In total, I paid $14 plus tips. read more

I am used to waxing however, I have been burned on my lip twice and am super paranoid to get burned again. I live nearby and stumpled by this place. Both the women here are very nice, and do a great job. I have been back at least 5 times and will continue to go to them. This is my go to threading place, and in the years and years I've threaded, I've had my share of places to compare to, and so far the woman who works the first station has done a consistently great job. There are only two people here at once, which makes it nice to stay with the same person. The only reason why I hesitated to give 5 stars is on occasion she has left red spots from re-threading the same place too much in one sitting, but that hasn't happened in a while. I'm glad I still gave her a chance, cause she leaves perfectly shaped and trimmed brows. It is hard for me to trust places because most of them want to over thread and leave me with chola looking brows. She does a great job in allowing me to maintain my fuller natural look. I've also rarely had to wait and it's tucked away in a quiet part of the strip mall with less traffic. Great for getting in and out fairly quickly, cause time is money! read more

I was a little apprehensive about coming here after reading some of the reviews alleging that they were too rough or made people's brows too thin. However, I was in a rush and didn't want to drive back to Vinita's where I usually get my brows done. When I got there on a Sunday afternoon there was no line, so I just walked in and asked the lady to clean up my brows. If you care about aesthetics, the place was very clean and well organized. She did a very thorough job and even did some of my forehead as well. I'm very happy with the results. My brows are still full after the threading and they're also very tidy. I don't know what more I could expect even if I had paid more for the service. As for the alleged roughness, the lady who did my brows was no rougher than anyone else who has done my brows. She might've even been a bit gentler. I can't vouch for the other one though. The price is on par with most places around here. You get a stamp card and your 10th service is free. I was lured here by the yelp reviews, and because I had made the executive decision that my normal place (Angel Threading) was too far. I'm glad this place has been so great for so many yelpers. But I won't be back. I specifically asked for just "clean up" and "keep my brows as thick as possible". What I got were thin brows with uneven patches on the bottom and a huge gap between the brows. And a mad rash to boot! Trust me ladies, I've been getting threading done for a decade and have learned that if it's an experienced technician, not too rough but still removes all the itty bitty unibrow fuzz and what not, you won't feel cut-up or develop a rash. The price is normal ($9 excluding tip), but to dispute another yelp review here - there is no discount for first timers. There is, however, a punch card, if you're willing to return. read more

I went in to get my eyebrows and upper lip done. The price is reasonable, but I've had cheaper prices . $9 for eyebrows and $5 for upper lips. There was absolutely no wait which was a plus! The lady went above and beyond what I asked for. She threaded my forehead and my lower lip and chin area . I've never gotten anything else threaded but my eyebrows and upper lip . Wowzee All that threading for only $14 dollars plus $2 dollars tip. I will definitely be back. My only concern is that the tread broke twice on me and it hurt a tad . read more

I usually go to Ziba @ Cerritos Mall to get my brows threaded, but today I was short on time & looked up threading near my house. This place popped up w/ good reviews so I decided to check it out. It's literally a few blocks from where I live. I walked in & after I signed in I was ushered immediately to a chair even though a few people were already seated in the waiting area. The lady was really nice and super thorough. My brows looked perfect after a few minutes in the chair! I'm never going back to Ziba again. This is now my new favorite threading spot. read more

I used to get my threading in L.A., where I lived, but after switching for a while to waxing or plucking, and then moving, I neglected it for a long time. I don't mean weeks; I'm talking months, maybe a year - sad but true. So, I definitely NEEDED the visit today, feeling and looking way more hairy than I'm usually comfortable, personally. Life got in the way and I'd say to myself, oh, yeah, maybe next payday I'll go find a place .... It's always scary going to a new place for eyebrows, knowing if they mess up, it will take a long, long time to get better.
