Always s phenomenal customer service experience and I seem to always end up with the tickets I want at prices below those of other 3rd party resellers! For some reason most people think that big name ticket brokers like Stubhub and SeatGeek are the only reputiable places to score tickets after events sell out,  but that is so far from the truth! Most Angelinos are neglecting this great place right in their own back yard, I Need Tickets! The name truly says it all! When I need tickets these are my guys!

The staff handed us some stickers to put on and we proceeded to guide ourselves through the museum. The museum was very informative and I liked seeing all of the artwork and pieces by native Americans. My favorite part of the museum was actually the temporary exhibit they hosted which was a fashion exhibit. As a fashion lover, it was so informative to see a variety of fashion pieces and seeing the Native American culture being incorporated. There was a great variety of artwork, clothing and videos to really help bring everything to life. Another lovely part of the museum is their gorgeous garden. It's really small yet is intimate and well maintained. It was a great place to relax on a warm evening before the museum was going to close. I highly recommend coming to this museum. They have a free lot or if full, you can park across the street at the zoo lot. The museum is well maintained and an educational place to really learn about the history of California.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: A special theater for special movies…read more The hubby and I'd been here a couple of times, but it had been quite a while. Driving all the way up here from Long Beach to watch just any movie is not an option. When we found out about Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, though, a 4.5 hour extravaganza where they showed the two entire movies back to back, we were in! We had a bit of time to kill (haha) before the movie so we went to the bar to hang out, relax, and take in the atmo (fun decor and merch, vintage arcade games). The bartender was nice and efficient. Once the show was ready to start we headed up that long escalator to the floor with the theaters. It had been so long I'd forgotten all about the wacky, schlocky, awesome sci-fi and horror vintage foreign movie posters that lined the hallway. Almost worth the price of admission alone. Another thing we love about Alamo are the collection of shorts they play before a movie that's related to the upcoming feature. In this case it was the 70s Kung Fu movies that inspired much of the Kill Bill movies and they were so much fun! I hadn't seen a lot of this footage since I was a kid (and the Chemical Brothers video for "Get Yourself High"--look it up, you're gonna love it) so it was quite a treat. I hadn't seen the movies in a long time too so there were a lot of details I'd forgotten about, making for a delightful re-watch. The 4.5 hours flew by, and we left with smiles on our faces.

There's a good drink and food selection and they usually have a lot to do to reach out to the cinema going community, it's always been a nice vibe. They have had good selections in what to play, but the recent updates to their food ordering is counterintuitive to the original spirit of what Drafthouse was known for. This isn't against the staff, they've always been helpful and courteous as long as you followed their rules. Private equity ruins all good things, which is a shame because Drafthouse was one of the first theater chains to reinvigorate the community to come out to the movies.

The DTLA skyline views are incredible--watching the sunset turn into city lights while the movie started made everything feel so romantic and magical. We snagged a loveseat, which was super comfy for cuddling up, and the wireless headphones gave us crystal-clear sound without any outside noise interrupting the classic lines and soundtrack. The vibe on the rooftop is relaxed but lively--great drinks and snacks to enjoy before the film starts. Pretty Woman felt even more special in this open-air setting; we were both smiling and quoting lines the whole time. My girlfriend absolutely loved it, and so did I. If you're looking for a fun, memorable way to watch a movie (especially a rom-com on a date), this is it. Highly recommend-- we'll definitely be back for more screenings!

Enter the hotel through the garage and you'll see signage for the Rooftop Cinema Club. About halfway down the garage, there'll be an attendant helping people up the elevator. It's a little bit of a maze but there's tons of signage and people to help along the way! I got the loveseat fire package and was able to choose either a complimentary hot chocolate or popcorn. Our seat was next to a real wood fire which was great for the cold LA night! There's also a bar - beers, wine, and canned cocktails available. There weren't any entree type of meals but there were tons of snacks like candy, chips, popcorn, hot dogs, and pretzels. They gave us Bluetooth headphones for the movie. The sound wasn't great - definitely not full frequency but it did the job. The headphone's clamp force was also quite tight. The seating is all first come first serve no matter what package you get. We came early to get good seats but honestly it didn't look like there was a bad seat in the house. The screen is up high and large so you could really sit anywhere and still have a good view. They also had games laid out to play while you waited for the movie to start. The whole staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great experience! The only thing I would change is getting better quality headphones. Or allowing movie goers to bring their own headphones and connect via Bluetooth.
