I ordered the Lunch special, Chicken Teriyaki. Comes with white rice, small spring roll, & vegetables (cabbage, zucchini, carrot blend.) IT WAS AMAZING! Everything was delicious! The chicken is cooked fresh, made to order. It's their signature teriyaki sauce! You can even buy a bottle of it for $7-$8. They have other great looking choices too. My lunch was $8 and I ordered an extra spring roll for a couple of bucks more. My total was $12 and some change, worth every penny! It was my first visit, I'll be back!! I have been to this restaurant three times now, and the Head Chef always greets me very warmly when I enter. The kindness of the service is the main reason I keep coming back! I've ordered the Chicken & Beef Teriyaki twice & the Shrimp Yakisoba once (so far) - both are very good - I would put the Teriyaki Beef in the top takeout Teriyaki dishes I've had (and I travel a lot!). They have a cooler full of a wide variety of drinks, and (though it's out of service this week) a soda fountain. The Sriracha shortage has me pretty sad at the moment, but the sauces they use have been delicious all-around. I'm also a big fan of the cool & crisp salads with the poppyseed dressing. I ordered the chicken and shrimp teriyaki, combo plate, and a side of miso soup. I'll save this. It gave off regular Chinese food restaurant vibes which didn't really impressed me. They were very generous with the chicken and pretty cheap with the shrimp. The rice was a bit over cooked from my taste and saturated in teriyaki sauce. I used to come here recurringly. After the pandemic started, I stopped going to restaurants for over a year. I only recently came back to I Luv Teriyaki but it's a spot I've always enjoyed. I got the tonkatsu (deep fried pork cutlet). It came with two mounds of white rice and a salad with this good dressing. The amount of tonkatsu provided is surprising when many others would charge more for the same amount, if they even gave the same amount. The portion actually felt larger than it was when I was younger but I'm not complaining. I came back again recently as well and got this spicy chicken under the lunch special and the sauce really made it. The cook on the chicken was fine but the sauce was generously provided but again not excessively. That one came with two mounds of rice with sauce and some steamed veggies with sauce. Delicious as is and a great deal even for a lunch deal with respect to taste, quality, and price. I Luv Teriyaki is a comfort place for me and returning there has reminded me why and reinforced that idea. I didn't review any of their teriyaki dishes despite the restaurant name but from my past experiences, I enjoyed those a lot as well. Hope that plenty of people provide business there. read more

Not a fan of the food here. I spent $41 on 2 combos & a California roll. This is $11 more than I spend at Quickway, so I hoped the food would taste better than quickway. The food was not better than quickway unfortunately. I left here feeling like I wasted my money. The sauce was too intense and I could barely stomach it. The two scoops of rice were tiny. The gyoza were tiny. The salad was fresh tasting, crunchy. The California roll had hard rice & was missing components of it. That's what really ruined my experience. I LOVE "I Luv Teriyaki". I have always gone to the location on 610 but this is my first time at this one. My friend KRA and I were meeting for lunch and I Luv Teriyaki is super close to her job. I don't know how the other places get business as I would eat here everyday. When we went in the door I was concerned since their were no seats left but a table opened up pretty quickly as we were eating. The place is pretty small so I would recommend coming with more than 3-4 people. I Luv Teriyaki has great lunch specials. The "famous chicken" bowl is 5.99 and only $2 for fried rice. The chicken is always on point with the amazing teriyaki sauce. I always add extra sauce just because it is that good. If it was socially acceptable, I would drink the their teriyaki sauce straight from the bottle. The fried rice is game changing. I don't know what they put in it but it is always made perfectly. It reminds me of hibachi fried rice without the show. I also enjoy the side of cabbage which is never over cooked. If you prefer soggy cabbage, this is not the side for. Both locations aren't the most convenient to get to unless you work or live in the area. For me, it is definitely worth the trip. read more
