As a resident of Sierra Crest, I first noticed Zaid Hanna's name back in 2024 when I saw his real…read moreestate marketing poster at my doorstep labeling him as the "your #1 Sierra crest Seller Agent." I snapped a quick photo of it, thinking I might consult him if I ever needed to sell. By the winter of 2025, I received another flyer from Zaid that read: "The market is frozen, but we didn't give up." Even though the market was rough at the time, that property sold shortly after. His words truly touched me. In the high-cost, wealthy Bay Area, a modest condo often doesn't get much attention; many agents wouldn't bother putting in the effort and would simply advise the seller to rent it out if it didn't sell quickly. Although I had never met Zaid, I saved his number in my phone right then because I was deeply impressed by his work ethic. In the spring of 2026, my mother unfortunately passed away, leaving behind a condo that needed to be sold. I was at a loss for who could help. The property's location wasn't ideal, and the market was slow, so I knew I needed a top-tier agent. While I initially considered finding a Chinese-speaking agent, for some reason, I decided against hiring a Chinese agent. That's when I thought of Zaid. One day afternoon, I gave him a call and described the condition of property. he scheduled our first meeting immediately. Zaid was very nice. Our first meeting went incredibly well. Zaid analyzed the market for me. It was April, and inventory was unusually high. He recommended a minor renovation, and I agreed because I knew it would change the look of the home. He was highly professional and honest with me, acknowledging that the market was tough, especially for condos. However, he emphasized that his goal was a quick sale upon listing so it wouldn't sit on the market. Zaid's true professionalism shines through his phenomenal team. From remodeling, cleaning to the official listing, every team member was diligent and responsible. The renovation took about two weeks--a bit long, but the results were stunning. The house officially hit the market around Memorial Day. Throughout the process, Zaid called me every Tuesday to give updates. Remarkably, after just 7 days on the market, we received an offer! This completely exceeded my expectations. Given the less-than-ideal location, I had mentally prepared myself for a long wait. Seven days was faster than I could have ever imagined. I had seen many condos on Zillow sitting on the market for over three months, forcing sellers to slash prices multiple times. I felt lucky. The subsequent escrow and contract process went smoothly without a single delay. All contingencies were removed exactly on schedule. Yesterday, on July 2nd, this modest little condo officially closed escrow. I am incredibly grateful. It is easy to sell a perfect house, but selling a property with an unfavorable location requires an agent with extensive knowledge, sharp skills, and precise valuation. I believe a challenging property is the true test of an agent's capability, and Zaid completely proved himself. He gives honest advice that both buyers and sellers should take seriously. I highly recommend Zaid and his team, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Zaid and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, dependable, and to the point. I would definitely work with them again. Zaid was honest and forthcoming about the value and sales process that he expected for the house, and it played out just as he outlined, with the sale price beating his prediction. With invaluable advice from Zaid, we decided what improvements to invest in, and then Zaid took it from there. He introduced us to a contractor that he works closely with and trusts. It was the easiest home improvement project I have ever experienced. We all met briefly to walk through the house and discuss the desired improvements, the contractor provided a quote which was fair and straightforward, and then Zaid and the contractor drove the process from beginning to end. We were fully informed and consulted, and then before we knew it the work was done and the results were good. The rest of the process was just the same. Zaid directed me to the providers he recommends for different inspections, etc. and then he took care of the rest. The house looked great as staged, and it was photographed well. The open house must have gone well, because a few days later we were in escrow. Easy-peasy, for us at least!

Not knowing what to expect we provided a short list of what we were looking for. This included the desired room counts and configuration, neighborhoods and cities we were or were not interested in, and our maximum budget. When we first met, she indicated as having experience in short sale and foreclosure deals which at the time we were not entirely opposed to. During the 3 months in utilizing this agent's service not once did we receive any email or potential lead. All leads were provided by my wife or me. It was a constant failure by the agent to adhere to our search criterion. When there was a potential lead provided it was consistently over budget (four times) or in areas we had already stated that we did not wish to look in. That latter item happened on at least 3 occasions. There was no sense of being unreasonable or overly picky about the places we were or were not interested in. We knew what we wanted and clearly stated that from day one. On numerous occasions home that both my wife and I were seriously interested in viewing we were decline for a wide range of reasons; no time, not a good home and on two occasions even because she didn't want to show that particular home. On the second time we went on a showing appointment, we were shown to 3 houses that were again in areas we did not wish to look and or were significantly over budget. At this time the "must" and "want" lists were reiterated to make sure there was an understanding and focus of what we were looking for. Deaf ears prevailed and again and the next two dates for showings we were taken to showings, of her choice, that did not meet any of our desires or needs. Speak direct and in clear concise language that none of the houses chosen to be shown to us were homes we would have looked twice at. In a drive-by, on-line or any other means by which to asses our interest. The response we were given to budget concerns was met with numbers being punched into a calculator so quickly and in obstructed view with numbers that looked too good to be true. How such potential sales price, mortgage payment and various costs were calculated I didn't understand then or now. When we were called for a home she really wanted us to see there was much skepticism on my part; partly because I had seen it online already and had no interest. My wife however was mildly interested so I agreed to the showing. The neighborhood was acceptable but the list price was almost $90k over budget. Seeing the house I had no immediate feelings for it. I did not like the lay out, rooms were small and dark, and the bathrooms were tiny and poorly ventilated with obvious signs of moisture problems. In addition the garage had been converted to two bedrooms and a storage shed type structure had been converted to a studio with kitchenette and bathroom; all of which had working electricity and or running water. Likewise both of these areas were done without permits. That information was quickly indicated before ushering us around the home. When I was asked if I liked it I said I honestly did not. At that point the agent blew up. She verbally accosted me and my character saying that I didn't understand value going on to say that until I did we would never find anything. I explained that was not true. This particular home was a good value: good area, lots of space and a good price. It however would have been far too costly to correct the known issues pertaining to permits for the garage conversion and building of a studio apartment in the backyard. These were expenses and headaches we did not want to get involved in. Regardless, her yelling at me was unwarranted and unprofessional. Never in all my years of working in a customer service type role, never have I given or received such treatment from a merchant or to a customer/client. On these grounds I would never suggest or recommend Kelly Qin as an agent to anyone. She says on her website, "Guided with principles of trust, respect and integrity, Kelly Qin assists clients to achieve their dreams". This however could not be further from the truth. I gave one star because you cannot leave zero stars which I would rather have left in this case. She didn't sell us a home but she did sell us on her ability and professionalism. A non-refundable sale as it was. But we learned how to work and, as it was, not work with an agent. And we had great success the next time out. We are in our new home and had a wonderful, professional, diligent and willing to listen and understand the client's wants or needs. Thankfully we moved on. Her loss! Our gain!

If we loved a house, she'd join us for a second visit and immediately start pointing out the pros and cons, that we might have missed. Whenever we sought guidance, she shared invaluable insights from her years of experience, pointing out details we never would have noticed on our own, which was very valuable. Manu has been in the business for a long time now. The connections she has came in clutch multiple times. We got a phenomenal interest rate through her contact, got really helpful escrow people, and had multiple instances of going to open houses and name-dropping her as our agent. People in the business recognize her. You have to understand what you get with Manu though. She played every single move the safest way it could be played. We didn't put multiple offers - only one house at a time. We had contingencies to protect our bids from bad evaluations. Even celebrating the closing was only Manu-approved after the loan was approved and the docs were signed. All of which I appreciate because I'm fairly risk averse. Manu's team is a powerhouse. She made every deadline with room to spare. She was also really good at dealing with my bad mood and stress (real estate is brutal). Although towards the end I think she was a little grateful to be done with us lol. Her MO is also to give you a customized portal in MLS for houses but full honesty, my wife and her house hunting doom scrolling probably found more houses. The house we ended up buying too didn't make it through the filters. She also only comes to open houses after you like them. So she's not going to spoon feed you everything but she makes those expectations pretty clear straight away. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that her advice was a big part of why we stepped up from looking at smaller townhouses to a single family home. No regrets there. Now one month into living at the new house, we did learn some things the hard way like home warranties are fairly useless, Yelp and Home Depot are your best friends, and if you call someone for a free inspection, they're honor bound to find something stupid for you to have to fix. So yeah again, you're not going to be spoonfed everything. So why 5 stars? I did get my dream house. And this whole experience was possibly the most stressful thing I've ever done in my life. Through it, Manu and her team were a good group of people to have in my corner.

I hired David Azimi and his team earlier this year to help me sell my house in Richmond. I'd had it…read moreon the market for about 7 months of the prior year with another agent, who was unable to sell it. Consequently, I was not optimistic. But I was immediately taken with David's enthusiasm and assurance that 'we'll get this baby sold and I won't stop until we do.' Sales hype, I thought, but I went with him because that kind of energy is exactly what I needed. Then he sprang into action and I saw the difference between an agent who is fully committed to selling your property vs. one who isn't. My prior realtors had one or two open houses spread over a couple of weekends and then a call for offers. When that didn't produce offers, they did pretty much nothing except leave the listing up along with a sign in front of my house. Not David. First of all, he had two open houses every weekend and after a few calls for offers didn't produce anything, he ramped up the effort and continued to have 2 open houses per weekend and promised to continue that until the place sold. He kept me apprised all along the way of developments and never flagged in his enthusiasm. He also helped me stage some parts of the house without having to stage the whole thing and never charged me for it. And he had his cleaning team go through the house at no charge to clean both the inside and outside for the showing. And then, for the first showing, he had a small band to create a festive atmosphere. All at no charge. When the house didn't sell initially (it was a 2/2 not a 3/2, which seriously impacted its sellability), we dropped the price significantly to generate more traffic. After something like 6 weekends of two open houses we got one offer. Just one. And from that, he was able to wrangle over $100k above asking. I have no idea how the hell he did that. But he did that. Bottom line: if you want a realtor with the tenacity of an attack dog and the sophistication of someone who's been at this for a long time, hire David Azimi and his sons and team. No one will take better care of you and help you sell your house.
